I really miss my on again off again boyfriend Niall. He has a music career, so we barely see each other. I miss him so much

“Hey! You ready to play?” My best friends from my team Kylie and Gabie ask me

“Yeah” I sigh

I walk onto the field. My phone rings

“Hello?” I ask

“Hi sweetie. Your dad and I are on your way with Adam and your sister’s coming with Josh and Little Bella. There is a surprise for you!”

“Okay mom. The game starts in an hour. We’re just warming up. See you soon. Love you”

“Love you too!”

I am glad my family is coming to my last game of the season. I wonder what the surprise is

The game is almost over. It’s the last inning. It’s tied 12 to 12. We have 2 outs and bases are loaded

“Come on Emma! It’s up to you!” My coach pats me on the back

I walk up to the plate and wait to swing

“Strike!” The umpire yells

I hit again

“Strike 2!”

Oh god, my last hit

It flies past all of the players and to the gate

“Yes! Home run!”

I run really fast around all of the opponents with angry looks on their faces. I faintly hear the crowd cheering me on

“Yay!” My teammates yell and we huddle in a group hug

“Em!” My mom yells and gives me a hug, then I hug my dad and little brother

“You did great!” My sister, Megan says

“Thanks” I hug her and her husband, then her daughter

“You want to know what your surprise is?”

“Yes!” I jump up and down

I turn around and see Niall

“Oh my god! You didn’t!” I start to cry

“Yes honey. Now go and hug him!”

I run and jump into his arms

“I’ve missed you so much Ems”

“I’ve missed you too” I smile at him

“How long are you here?” I ask

“As long as you want me to be”

I am so happy with my life right now
