“Aurora! Your up after Lexi” My manager instructs me

I am a model. I can’t believe I am, but I feel proud of how far I’ve come

“You ready for tomorrow?” My best friend Layla asks me

“Yeah” I smile as I pull the dress i’m wearing around. It feels a little uncomfortable. Maybe it’s the fabric

“Are you excited Liam’s coming?!” Layla adds

I grin at her “You know I miss my boyfriend”

Liam has been my boyfriend for 8 months. I miss him terribly, since he’s gone doing things for his band. That’s how we met

“Just checking. I mean. guys throw themselves at you. But you only have Liam on your mind. It’s sweet” Layla dreams

“You’ll find your dream guy. He’s waiting for you” I look at the boy that she’s crushing on, Drew

“He likes you too” I smile

Drew looks over at us and she smiles as he waves at her

“Girls! We’re doing another run through!”

The show is starting, and I feel a little nervous

“You’ll do great Aurora” Layla says

“You're right” I sigh and walk onto the runway, strutting

I look into the audience and I see Liam. My smile grows wider

“You did great! I told you” Layla congratulates me

“You were right” I smile at her

“Aurora”

I smile once I hear his voice “Liam!” I run and jump into his arms

“I’ve missed you” I whisper into his ear

“Hey Liam” Layla says sweetley

“Hi Layla”

“Where are the boys?” I ask Liam

“They are at the hotel. I wanted to see you. Do you mind if I take my girlfriend out?” Liam asks my manager

“Well. All of the models need to be home by eleven. It’s nine thirty-”

“I promise to have her home by then” Liam smiles. I love how sensible he is

“Ready?”

“Sure am”
