My best friend Bethany and I are having a ‘war’ outside. The perks of being left with my four little cousins at my family’s house warming party

“Ambeee!?” My cousin Tina whines

“Ugh!” I look at Bethany

She looks at me and shakes her head

I pick up my cousins and take them into the house to play in the play room upstairs

“Amber! Can you get the door?” My mom yells up the stairs

I walk and stand by the railing “I’m kinda busy”

“Now!” My mom yells

“Ugh!” I stomp down the stairs

I open the door to see five of the most gorgeous guys I’ve ever seen

“Hello, Is this the right address?” One of them asks me

“Depends on what you're here for” I reply

‘Oooh! Feisty!” Another says

I pull open the door to shut it- “Boys! So good to see you! Come in!” My mom yells

They walk inside “Mom, how do you know these guys?” I ask her

“They are your new neighbors from down the street”

“Oh joy” I walk upstairs

“Who were those hunks at the door?” Bethany asks

“No need to drool” I laugh

“Fine. I saw the way one of them looked at you” She replies

“Wait, which one?” I ask

Just before I could finish my sentence, one of the cute guys walk by

“You know where the bathroom is?” He asks

Bethany looks at me with wide eyes “It’s him” She mouths

I get up and lead him down the hallway

“It’s at the end of the hall”

“Thanks. I didn’t get the chance to introduce myself. I’m Zayn”

“Amber” I shake his hand

“Look. I should get back to my annoying cousins. My friend can’t handle them that long” I laugh

“Sure. See you later Amber”

I grin as I walk back to the play room

“It’s fate! You and him are so going to have that forbidden love thing! Ooooooh!” Bethany rambles

I laugh. “I guess we’ll have to wait and see”
