“Wow. It’s such a beautiful day today” My friend Dana sighs
“I agree” Maddi answers
I laugh at them. We walk around London every day
“Oooooh! Let’s go on the London eye!” Dana squeals and pulls me along
“No. I don’t want to! Please!” I whine
“Come on! Don’t be a baby!” Maddi replies
I see my ex boyfriend Liam and his friends walking over there too
“Great. Just my luck” I mumble to myself
“Hey. Isn’t that Liam?” Dana gasps
“Yeah! It is! Hey!” Maddi yells, waving over
“Lord help me” I groan
The boys walk over and they all give Dana and Maddi hugs
“Hi Liam” I say kindly
“Hi Laura. How are you?” He asks
Really!? How am I doing? Fine considering the love of my life just dumped me because he thought that the long distance relationship wasn’t working! Ugh! Men, I swear
“Great. You?” I answer
“Fine” He answers. The boys look at him like he’s nuts
What happened to the nice, sweet, caring Liam?! This is so not okay...
“Next in line” The lady says
All of us look at eachother
Dana and Maddi push me inside “We need one more passenger”
The boys lightly touch Liam. He doesn’t move
“Liam! Go mate!” Louis yells at him
“Please. Can one of you just go inside!” The woman yells
Liam groans and looks at the boys. They push him inside and he falls over. As the ride starts, you can feel the tension in the air
“I’m sorry for how we ended things” He starts
“You’re sorry!? You should be! For breaking my heart!” I yell, on the verge of crying
“I didn’t want to. You were the love of my life. I wanted to spend my life with you. I love you Laura. I still do”
I look at him “Really!? If you love me then why did you quit on us?” I ask
“I don’t know. I was just a little frazzled”
“You were frazzled! You can go out and not be scared of the flashing lights and questions from the paparazzi. You feel happy to be in an article of a magazine. When a group of girls ask you for an autograph, you smile and sign your name. I on the other hand, get terrified by all those things”
“It’s a part of my job”
“Like our relationship wasn’t!? I tried so hard to not argue and just be happy when I know we were splitting apart”
“I’m sorry Laura. I truly am”
“I know that Liam. But why did we break up?” I say, now crying hysterically
He puts his hands on my waist “I broke up with you because I love you more than my job. I didn’t want you being on the bad side of it”
“Liam, I don’t care about it. It scared me. But I’ll do anything for you. I love you with all my heart”
He cuts me off by kissing me “Is that a yes?” I ask
“What do you think?” He laughs and kisses me again
We hear whistling and cheering coming from below, we laugh at our friends who, thanks to them, got our relationship back together...
