Chapter 9: return

Betty's POV
It's time. Finally. After all this time, which wasn't actually that long. I would be returning to school. I woke up early this morning to get ready. I shocked at the surprise that's Cheryl and Kevin decided to walk me to school. "Oh cousin Betty, you look amazing for your day back." Cheryl said.
"Thank you Cheryl." I reply.
"So, you for sure going to be the talk of the school today Betty." Kevin states.
"Are you sure?" I reply.
"Well look how gorgeous you look, oh and the fact that you got shot." Kevin said. All three of us giggle and before we knew it we were at school.

Archie's POV
I keep seeing Betty in the hallway, but each time I go to talk to her she disappears. I keep thinking she's avoiding me. I spotted Cheryl in the hallway and decided to ask her. "Cheryl do you know where Betty is?" I ask.
"Why would you want to know Archie?" She says.
"I need to talk to her." I state.
"Well maybe she doesn't want to talk to you, ever thought of that?" She questions.
"Cheryl you don't understand, this is important." I add. She begins walking off, towards the students lounge. I follow after her and discover Betty in there with Kevin.

Betty's POV
Kevin and I were chatting and having fun in the student lounge. Cheryl soon walked in and we were excited all the trio was together, but then Archie walked in after Cheryl. And then I realised there was no escaping.

Archie's POV
"Betty I need to talk to you." I say.
"I have nothing to say to you." Betty says.
"Please Betty." I ask. She stayed silent for a bit and then she spoke. "Alright, you can talk but that doesn't mean I'll answer." She's replies.
"I'll give you guys some time." Kevin says as Cheryl follows soon it's just Betty and I.
"It's been a while since it was just us here."
I state.
"Yeah, it's crazy how times have changed." She replies.
"Look Betty, I'm sorry for messing with your feelings. The truth is I don't even understand my own. I'm going to take some time and figure out me feelings, and then I'll make my decision." I say.
"Arch, you don't need to choose between Veronica and I. Maybe you'll choose neither of us." Betty says. It reminded me of why I liked her in the first place. "You're right Betty, but when I figure things out we'll talk more about this. So for now, can we at least be friends?" I ask.
"Of course Arch." She replies with the prettiest smile.

Betty's POV
I was so happy to be friends with Archie again. No made how he ever makes me feel, I could never stop being friends with Archie. He's apart of me, and I cherish the friendship we share.

Later at Betty's house
"So Betty, what did you and Archie talk about?" Cheryl asks.
"Yeah better give us the details." Kevin asks.
"We're beings friends..... for now." I tell them.
"So Betty, do you like Archie?" Cheryl asks. With those words millions of memories flash through my mind. "Yes." I reply with the biggest smile. "Awwwww." Kevin and Cheryl both say.
"So Kev, who do you like?" Cheryl asks.
"Well I kinda like the new serpent guy Fangs." Kevin replies.
"Omg Kev, You should go for it." I suggest.
"I'm not sure yet." Kevin replies.
"Cheryl, who do you like?" Kevin asks.
"No one has really caught my eye yet." Cheryl replies eating some popcorn.

Cheryl's POV
I was lying, there was someone who caught my eye. Her name was Toni and she was serpent. I should have told them, but I've never told anyone I was bisexual before. I wasn't ready to come out tonight.

Archie's POV
I looked at the window and saw Betty laughing with Kevin and Cheryl. Betty had the cutest of smiles. My decision was going to be a hard one. That was something I was sure of.
