Chapter 11

I didn't realize I fell asleep until I heard a banging on the door.
"Coming" I called out rushing out of the jacuzzi to grab a robe. I quickly rushed out the bathroom putting on the robe. I stared into a constantly blinking eye.

"Holy f**k! What are you doing in here!?" I bark turning around to tie my robe.

"You said to come in" with an ear to ear grin.

"The f**k! I said COMING as in I'm coming to pull to door, wait outside for me" I shouted pointing to the door.

"Well you should of said that plus you have nothing I haven't seen before" he shot back walking towards the bed.

"Get the f**k off my bed!" I seethed.

"Okay, okay, okay calm down chica" and he raised his hands in a surrender position.

"What do you want?" I asked, putting a hand on my hip.

"Came to tell you that we have a wall to be fix in the morning and a bookshelf to be replace" he said walking over to the couch.

Damn! Venice, the fight. I totally forget.  "So you told Dennis everything?" I asked in almost a whisper.

"Yes I did but I left out the part on the couch, after all, I didn't want neither of them getting into anymore trouble"

"Thank you"

"You're welcome" he shrugged.

I looked at the bedtime table and saw that it was 12:30am. "Wonder I'm so hungry, I missed dinner"  I said holding onto my belly.

"There wasn't much of a dinner since everyone locked away in their rooms." He muttered getting up to open the cupboard and toss me a blood bag and taking out one for his self.

I walked over to the couch and sat beside him giving enough room so the situation wouldn't be awkward. "Toast to a crappy night" raising my blood bag into the air. He look at me and did the same. We both finished off our blood bags within minutes.

"Anna?" Shaquan called turning his attention to me.

"Yes" I answered fidgeting with the empty blood bag.

"What happen out there yesterday evening? That wasn't you" he said in a sad tone.

"I don't know, after Ven send me into the bookshelf I just got angry and I couldn't control it, I tried I really tried but I don't know what came over me" I said sobbing.

Shaquan pulled me into a hug and I was grateful for the embrace. "Shh...don't cry, you just need to work on your emotion, that's it. Tomorrow I'll show you how to. You need to direct that anger to something or someone that keeps you calm, that makes you find peace"

"Ven will never talk to me now" I whispered calming down.

"She has to one day, you guys have a long way to go. You not getting old anyways"

"Oh yes, even when I'm 300 I still be looking like a 19 year old unless someone puncher my heart with a silver or wooden stake or cut my head off"

"So you have a loooooong time with me"

"I would tell you to get some sleep but I remember we don't need much sleep as humans anymore" I said pouting.

"Let's go to the roof top, the moon is out tonight" getting up and offering me his hand.

"Sure, let me find something to put on first" running off to my closet.

"Okay, I'll wait right here" Shaquan smirk sitting back down.

"Get out! I'll meet you on the roof" I shouted at him.

"Stop behaving so uncouth, there's nothing I haven't seen before" he uttered before speeding through the door.

That piece of shit!

I raffled through the closet until I found a strapless red floral dress that flare from the waist down and sit right above my knee. I pulled my hair to the back in one and did my edges and apply a light red lipstick finishing my attire off with a pair of black slippers.

I left the room and headed to the roof where I found Shaquan sitting on one of the chairs looking up at the sky.

I cleared my throat and his attention moved towards me.

"Wow! I didn't know this was going to be a date" Shaquan said surprised.

"Please shut up" I rolled my eyes at him before walking over.

"So any shooting stars tonight?" I questioned.

"No. Only you" he reply smirking.

"Do you flirt with every girl in the clique like this?" I asked turning in my chair to face him.

"Actually, you're the first. There's something about you that bring out another side in me"

"Aww...Shaquan thinks I'm cute, special and the best girl in the world" I said teasing.

"No I didn't"

"Stop denying it" I bent over to push his arm but he moved and my hand hit the chair. I grimaced in pain and got up to hut him but he speed out off his seat near the water fountain and I went after him. "Shaquan stop and let me slap you"

He stop near the pool and I ran over to him missing my balance and held onto to his hand drawing us both into the pool.

Shit!

"Are you okay?" Shaquan asked holding onto waist.

"I think so" I giggled.

I bring my eyes to level with Shaquan and that's when I realized his eye's colour changed to hazel. He move closer to me and my breathe got stuck in my throat. His blonde hair rest on the side of his face dripping water and the moon light radiating off his skin. I bite onto my lower lip and waited for his response. He held my gaze the entire time not shifting but coming closer and now he was inches away from my lip. I waited for him to devour me but I was impatient. I finished off the space and smash my lips onto his. He grip my waist tighter and I wrap my arms around his neck. His tongue slide against my bottom lip asking for access and I granted him. His tongue entwined with mine, sliding in and out and sucking onto my lip. I trailed my finger into his hair and I heard a moan escape him. He pulled away gasping for air with our forehead resting on each other.

"I can't do this Anna"
