After an hour of painfully embarrassing secrets spilt by Chenle and his friends, Jaemin wanted to just run away. Though it wasn't him who had faced all of the problems, now he had to live with it. Mark was always snickering in between while Jaemin nudged him and gave him the death stare.
But in the end, he had gotten some basic information about Renjun so it was kinda worth it. When they were done, they parted and promised to meet up again.
"So can you manage with this much information for today? I gotta head back home now. Let's meet up again tomorrow?", Mark asked Jaemin and rubbed his nape.
"Yeah sure. Thanks so much for helping me and also for understanding this crazy ass situation"
The two boys hugged each other and then parted ways. Jaemin luckily remembered his way back to his new home and so didn't get lost on the way.
When he got home he was greeted by Jeno who seemed really angry which confused Jaemin. Did he have a bad day? Did someone fight with him? What was he doing at his house without informing in advance?
"Hey Jeno", Renjun said, trying to sound calm even with billions of questions buzzing in his mind.
"Don't Hey Jeno me! How dare you do this to me", Jeno replied with rage.
"What did I do?"
"What do you mean 'What did I do?' You know exactly what you did!"
"No I don't, which is why I am asking you!"
"Don't speak to me with that sass! Did that boy teach you how to do that?!"
'A boy? Which boy?', Jaemin thought. He didn't answer because he was unsure on what to say.
"Exactly. Silence. Just as I thought. I can't believe you did this to me Renjun! I thought you loved me!", Jeno spat and now tears were forming in his eyes. Why was Jeno being so dramatic?
"Which boy are you talking about? What did I do?", Jaemin said helplessly.
"That guy you were hanging around with all day! You're secretly dating him isn't it! Does he know about me?! How dare you double date?!"
Now it made sense to Jaemin. It was Mark. He decided to go with the story he first made with Mark.
"He was just a friend of a friend who had passed away recently! I can't believe you would think that I would cheat on you!", Jaemin said, now taking the control over the situation which left Jeno confused. ——————————————————
