I tensed up all of a sudden when I heard the door bell go off again. I watched a Winwin go towards the front door to let the expected guests to enter. I may have looked calm on the outside but I was going crazy on the inside. Part of me just want to grab Mark's hand and just run back to my real home and hope to get my old life back. But obviously that I ain't gonna work.
"Oh so you are Mark", I heard Taeyong ask Mark while Mark stood up and bowed in front of him like he did to Winwin. Jaehyun and Jeno were following him. Jeno looked the same as I saw him earlier this morning. Eyes puffed up, he looked really tired.
"So we tried explaining the whole thing to Jeno, but he is still adamant to not believe that you are cheating on him..."
"He is cheating on me", Jeno cut off Taeyong with a straight face and kinda staring right into me and not looking anywhere else.
"Listen man. We're just friends. And that too not direct friends. He happened to be a friend of my best friend and that's the only reason we are speaking to each other", Mark said briefly in a calm tone.
"That's what everyone says. 'We're just friends'. And this friend of yours, isn't he dead or something? Why are you two speaking if he is dead huh?", Jeno said heartlessly.
"Renjun wanted to know what had happened as he was in the hospital at that time wasn't he"
"So are you done explaining whatever the reason is to him?"
"Yeah"
"So this leaves to no other reasons to meet him right?", Jeno trapped him. This is not good!
"Yeah.."
"So now I don't want you anywhere near him and also never ever text him. Is that cool?", Jeno said with a smirk.
"Sure"
Why? Why is this happening! I ant lose Mark now. He is the only one who knows the truth about me! Why isn't Winwin, Jaehyun and Taeyong stopping this? How can they think this is normal?
"Alright. So I guess you can leave now"
"Yeah cool", Mark said and stood up from the couch. He bowed down to everyone in the room and then came towards me. "So can you drop me off at the door. This is gonna be the last time we're meeting right"
"Uh yeah", I said. I was confused but I just went along with it. Luckily Jeno didn't object to it.
I took Mark to the front door, I knew the four guys in the living room can see what we're doing. Mark suddenly gave me a hug and started whispering something into my ear.
"Don't panic. I noticed that Jeno had a new phone with him. And he is probably gonna give it to you. Text me in this number and save my name as someone else okay", Mark explained and I noticed that he had slid something into my pocket and then he parted from me and gave a smile to which I returned as well and then he just walked out the door. ——————————————————
