I shot up from the couch and raced to the front door as soon as I heard the doorbell go off. I kept chanting 'Please don't mess up' a million times in my head and reached out to the door knob and opened the door and saw Mark dressed nicely as if he were going for an interview, but less formal. How extra.
"Hey man, you okay now?", Mark asked me and I just grabbed his hand and took him to the living room where Winwin was waiting for us.
"This is Mark. The guy Jeno is doubting on", I explained to Winwin while Mark did a full 90 degree bow. Like why?
Winwin got up from the couch as well and walked towards Mark to give him a handshake to which he responded and they started talking for a while. So far so good.
"So how do you know Renjun?"
"He is a friend of mine"
"You guys aren't anything more than just friends right?"
"No man"
"So what do you think we can do about this situation?"
How was Winwin so chill about this?
"I don't get why this Jeno guy is so mad. If he doesn't trust Renjun, he probably doesn't deserve him. No relationship can work without trust you know", Mark replied with a shrug. I wasn't surprised with his statement. He was honestly the best person for advice.
"That's true. But if you have the chance to get your relationship back, you wouldn't want to let it go would you?"
"That's true. But I am sure he had tried explain the truth to Jeno. So what's so hard to believe in that?"
"Probably just possessive. After all he is probably afraid of losing him after the big cancer situation"
"Okay that's a valid reason. So what could I do now then?"
"Well that's what we're here to discuss. Jeno's Brother will come over in a bit. He will bring Jeno as well. Let's see what we can do"
Jeno is coming?!? Why didn't Winwin tell me that! But Mark didn't seem framed out, instead he just nodded and agreed. —————————————————-
