"Hey, you okay?," Winwin asked me while I was busy spacing out.
"Yeah, I guess," I replied blankly and just went up to my room. It seemed as if Winwin wanted to tell me something but I have already gone through enough things that I am questioning if I am sane at this point. Is this what teenage romance is all about? Jealousy and stuff??
Suddenly I heard a 'ding' from this new phone of mine and I checked the notification bar and saw 'Bae has sent a new message' across the screen. Now obviously this is Jeno cuz his contact is the only one on my phone right now. Without hesitating I opened the message.
Bae: Hey. How is the new phone? Did you see that I have already downloaded your favourite game, Fortnite in it :). I call you once the get together is done okay. Love you loads babe.
Honestly I don't really like Fortnite and I think it's kinda overrated but okay. I sent a 'Love you too' with loads of emojis and then took out the paper which Mark gave me with his number from my pocket and saved the number in the phone. For now as 'Mark' but I have to change it later on so that Jeno doesn't go wild again. I texted him a 'Hey' and then turned the phone off and laid on my bed. Just thinking about what to do now.
I curse myself for asking for another shot at life. This wasn't how it was supposed to be. I just wanted my old life back. ——————————————————
