The next day I got ready for the date with Jeno. It's gonna be hard to be Renjun after reading his diary. I didn't want to be the one going with his boyfriend, but in his eyes, I am Renjun. It's going to be hard to explain the entire situation and I can't break the poor guy's heart. Renjun wanted his loved ones to be happy.
So I'm going to do that for him. I just have to go with flow, eventually learn all about Renjun and be like him. It can't be that hard.
"Renjuniee I'm here"
That was definitely Jeno. I ran down to the main door from my room and saw the boy with white hair give his cute smile, supported by his eye smile.
"Are you ready to go?",the clueless boy asked me and I nodded, smiling back at him.
We both went to the park, the day was perfect. We went for almost all the rides. Jeno was taking care of me since I had just got out of the hospital, he didn't know that I didn't feel any pain since I am a different person after all. But he didn't have to know that. Seeing him being so caring made my heart flutter. I know I shouldn't fall for him now. But I couldn't help it.
The day ended with the last ride which was the Ferris wheel. A cliche way to end a perfect date in the amusement park. Just the two of us in one of the cabins of the wheel. Since it was almost dark, nearing night time, the lights were all up and it was beautiful.
"Renjunie. Do you remember the specialty of today?"
What the- I didn't know. I stared at him blankly, hoping not to see a disappointed face from him. What could be the specialty of today?
"Our one year anniversary dummy", he said laughing since I hadn't replied for a while. One year anniversary? Now I'm drowning in the feels.
"You have no idea how much you mean to me you my Moonmin..."
I do.
"I almost died when I thought I almost lost you...."
But you did lose him.
"I love you Renjun"
"I love you too"
He had a huge smile on his face. He thought he heard it from the love of his life. But unfortunately it wasn't.
