Anonymous said: Fun fact: This anon can't help but think that if Team Natsu comes back to the guild super exhausted, Gray is going to immediately have Juvia follow him to the infirmary so that he can skip the talking points and get to the sleep on the bed moment. Juvia will short-circuit for a bit before deciding that napping Gray is too precious to leave unattended, so she sleeps with Gray on the same bed. Everyone else is going to be looking into the room and going, "Holy ****, good job Gray!"
AN: Sorry, I kind of went rogue with it. HAHA

Juvia frowned when she returned to the table she previously had been with her Gray-sama and didn't see him there. She put the two mugs of beer down and scanned the room, seeing all their friends partying in honor of the successful 100 Year Quest – it was quite a day for the Guild.
Since she didn't find him, Juvia thought back to what they were talking before she left to get the drinks and something clicked inside her mind. It had taken a long time for her to get their beverages – the line was huge – so perhaps Gray had skipped to the next point of his plans for when he arrived from the quest.
The blunette decided to look at the infirmary before she went to search for him at his apartment and she did as stealthily as she could; if she was right, she didn't want to bother him.
Once she arrived at the infirmary, Juvia smiled at the sight before her: Gray had taken off his coat and shirt and was lying on his back on one of the beds, slumbering peacefully.
The Water Mage closed the door behind her and approached the bed quietly. She sat on the bed, facing him and leaned to kiss his forehead and then caressed his hair for a few seconds and he didn't even stir – Gray had told her how tired he was, but didn't want to miss the celebration. He told Juvia he just wanted to have a quick shut-eye for a few minutes to get his strength back, the mission had drained him.
Juvia had suggested for them to go to his apartment, but he denied it, saying he would at least have a beer first.
The blunette snorted, he didn't even waited for the beer.
She was about to get up and let him rest while preventing people to get inside the infirmary, when he opened his eyes slowly.
"Sorry." She whispered. "Juvia didn't mean to wake you up." She smiled. "Go back to sleep." He kept looking at her for a few seconds and she was about to ask him what was wrong when Gray scooped to the farther end of the small bed, lying on his side and looked at her, waiting. Juvia frowned and understood a second later. "Do you want Juvia to join you?"
Gray sighed and patted the mattress, clearly getting annoyed by the time she was taking.
Juvia could feel her cheeks burn – it wasn't the first time they'd share a bed but they were still at the Guild – but did as was told and took off her hat, putting it on the bedside table and then lied down on the bed, on her side and Gray put his hand on her hips and she understood what he wanted and soon her back was touching the front of his body as if it was always meant to be there. One of his arms went under her head as a pillow and the other wrapped around her waist, his face hidden on her hair.
She should've locked the door, Juvia thought, now anyone could walk in and she knew how her Gray-sama hated public displays of affection and they were clearly showing a whole new level of affection by sleeping like that. Perhaps tiredness was making him reckless? Should she have joined him? Should-
"I can hear you thinking from here." Gray mumbled, his voice a little muffled because of her hair. "No thinking. Nap."
There was only one answer she could think of giving him: "Okay."

"What the-?"
"Awwww, they look so cute."
"Shhhhh, you'll wake them."
Juvia heard familiar voices as she woke slowly and realized that at some point during their nap, she had turned and was facing Gray's chest and the voices belonged to their friends.
"Shit." She heard Gray whisper to himself.
"Way to go, Gray!" Was that... Max?
"Shut up and go away. We're tired." Gray said with a low voice, probably not to wake her.
"And you look sooooo cozy." Warren said and made kissing noises and Juvia could feel her cheeks grow warmer – it wasn't as if she didn't like to be seen in Gray's arms, but she was taken by surprise.
"Fuck off of I'll freeze your asses off." Gray hissed angrily at them and she felt him tighten his hold on her. She heard a few shrieks and a door closing so Gray must've really scare them. "Fucking idiots." He mumbled and looked down to her and Juvia looked up – of course he knew she was awake. "I guess we should get up now." Gray was definitely grumpy, his brows draw close together.
"Sorry they found us." Juvia told him.
"I'm sorry they woke us." Gray snorted and then stretched his body. "Come on, those idiots will spread the word we were in here."
"Sorry." She said it again and Gray rolled his eyes.
"They were the ones interrupting, no need to be sorry." He leaned and kissed her lips lightly – he was a little more forthcoming with affection when it was only the two of them. "I feel a bit better, I think I can handle the idiots now."
"Don't talk about them like that." Juvia chuckled.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah." He snorted and got up from the bed to put his shirt back on while Juvia watched, and then his coat. "Are you staying at my place tonight?"
"You know Juvia will." She chuckled once more – she always stayed with him when he returned from a job.
"Good." He nodded once. "Now let's go get those beers." He offered her his hand to help her up and she gladly took it.
"Of course, Gray-sama." She smiled.
