I LOOKED AT MY REPORT, taking information in. Just then I heard some call out for me. "North, we got something." Detective Amber called.
I nodded and followed her. She guided me to Ross. "Look at this. I recovered the video footage from inside Vanessa's house was broken into. The angle of the camera is, unfortunately, facing away but look."
I scrunched my eyebrows together. What is he talking about? "Look at the mirror hanging on the wall," My eyes widened as I saw a face reflecting on the mirror. "Is that.."

"Don't make a sound or we'll kill you." One of them said as the other one locked the door. A hand immediately pressed against my mouth, making sure I didn't make a sound.
I watched nervously as one of the girls took the trashcan and emptied it before turning it upside down and placing it on the floor. She placed the trashcan down before stepping on it. She reached a window and took out a tool from her back pocket before prying open the window. Finally, she opened the window and got off the trashcan. Before I knew it, the girl behind me started moving me and I started fully panicking.
I tried to loosen her grip but she was strong and she wouldn't budge. And each second, we were getting closer to the window.
So I did what I had to.
I licked her hand.
She quickly removed her hand from my mouth with a look of disgust on her face. I took the opportunity to scream. I screamed for Dante. Screamed for anyone.
