A black mercedes had parked in the front of the house around 8:30, with only a dark silhouette was visible from the outside. But, a familiar one, that silhouette belonged to Yoongi.
He offered to pick you up so he could, 'have some alone time with you', since what he originally wanted was to go out on a second date, but he was still grateful at the fact that he was with you
That wasn't all though, he wanted to grow a closer bond with you, especially if he was genuinely interested in starting a relationship with you. Let's not forget how he wanted to ask you about how you met the others.
"You going out somewhere?" Max asked as she leaned on the wall, in her robe, giving off her typical motherly aura.
"Maybe."
"Alright, who is it? You hangin' out with boys?" She sighed as she grabbed a magazine and threw herself onto the velvet sofa, making her self comfy.
"Yeah, actually. I'm hanging out with Jungkook and Yoongi.. we're going to go bowling and hang out." You decided to stop yourself from saying Jimin, knowing how Max would react if you said you were still talking to Jimin.
"Okay, just.." She let out a sigh as she stretched, "-Just don't be out too late, you never know what you could get into, and also I need to talk to you."
"Do you want to talk about it now?" A worried face began making an appearance upon hearing that your friend, best friend actually, may be in need or needs to let something out.
She shook her head in disgust. "Talking can wait, don't leave your man waiting outside, he's been there for quite some time now. Don't make him wait." She kneeled onto the couch and pulled the curtain revealing Yoongi inside the car.
Max lifted herself off the couch and began approaching you, standing right in front of you. That's when you noticed it all; the eye bags laying beneath her eyes, her paler-than-usual face, and her puffy eyes.
Max definitely wasn't okay.
Her appearance was what made you worry even more, and it hurt you seeing someone who has been by your side for the longest time, was smiling like a child a few days ago, and is now looking like death itself.
Seeing her like this began making you want to stay home instead of hanging out with the guys, but can you really blame yourself?
Your best friend needs you.
"Max, I think I should stay instead. You do not look good whatsoever." You insisted and began getting rid of your coat and began making a way to the sofa, patting the space beside you.
Max furrowed her brows, grabbed your coat and shoved it into your arms. "Don't even think about it young man. Now put on your coat and go bowling with your friends, you're not being forced to stay by my side at all times. It's okay to be selfish every now and then, and now is one of those times."
Long story short, she ended up winning (like always) by smacking you out the door with her rolled-up magazine.
"Max seemed quite tough when she has a deadly weapon in hand huh?" Yoongi teased as you came into the car.
"Jeez, you're right, I think she gave me a paper cut from smacking me.." You whined once your finished buckling up, showing his the 3 paper cuts she gave you on your elbow, darn that magazine.
"How long have you been waiting?" Yoongi started up the car, after making sure everything was okay.
"Almost 10 minutes but that okay, I mean I did tell you to dress nice." Yoongi shrugged, quickly glancing at his watch. "I know we'll be arriving before Jungkook and Jimin, because Jimin takes forever to get ready."
You lightly laugh at his comment, causing Yoongi to glance at you with such sincerity in his eyes. Almost as if he wished for this moment to last.
"So, how'd you meet Jimin and Jungkook?" Yoongi used one hand to hold yours and kept the other hand on the steering wheel. "Sorry if this is too forward I- I just didn't think.." He removed his hand from yours.
But you quickly held his hand once again, showing that its okay. "Well, I met Jungkook back in high school, since we were science partners. Jimin-"
You hesitated, if you told Yoongi really how you met Jimin because you wanted to get his attention, he'd probably think of you as a playboy and that's the last thing you want, especially because you really like him.
"Jimin and I met while shopping, I dropped a hoodie and he suggested on me buying a blue one since it complimented my eyed more than a maroon one." You summed up.
You returned the question to Yoongi, and gripped his hand a little tighter.
"Well, I met Jimin in middle school. I was in 8th grade and he was in 6th, and my class had done this thing they call '8th grade buddies' where we get assigned a buddy and we get to know each other and give advice. Jungkook, we had mutual friends so there's not much of a story to it."
Suddenly you felt the car stop and see the lights from the bright neon sign. But are even more shocked when you see that Jungkook and Jimin were already here waiting outside on a bench.
The two of you quickly made your way out the car to meet up with the boys, Yoongi arriving with a scoff due to his assumption being incorrect.
Skipping the greetings you all just walked in, seeing the nearly empty bowling alley and the smell of pizza taking over your noses.
After minutes of non-stop bickering, you all finally decided on eating before playing so once you finish your bowling game you all can head to the arcade.
Jungkook seemed a lot more smiley than how he used to be back when he was younger, and also made you question if its possible to glo-up more than once because damn what happened to his little baby face?
Now you were all literally looking as if you were going to explode since you all somehow finished 3 boxes of pizza in less than half an hour.
"Alright guys, who's ready to lose?"
- wow another update i've honestly been enjoying writing this story, which is probably why i update this a lot faster. But anyways!
Question Of The Day: do you guys believe pineapple belongs on pizza? ;)
