"I think I'm going to die."

"Relax Sewoon, you'll be fine, but in case you do die, I'll take care of Max for ya." Soyoung winked at him as she helped him fix his tie, her teasing not helping his stress cool down.

"Not helping Soyoung." You gritted, as you polished Sewoon's shoes.

"Does the tie even work? I don't know, it feels odd to wear it." Sewoon asked frantically as he looked at himself in the mirror. "I look like a mess."

"Sewoon! Just shut up! You look fine." You reassured him. "Don't worry, Soyoung and I will make sure everyone's in place at the right time. And you just worry about bringing her over to the gazebo? Okay?"

Sewoon nodded, pursing his lips, "This is harder than I thought, oh my lord."

You walked over to Sewoon, slapping his back for being an idiot. "You've done this before dude."

"Oh yeah that's right, I have!" Sewoon's worried expression quickly disappeared as if it was never there in the first place, "I got this. I'm gonna be so great I'm gonna make everyone wish that they're the ones they're being proposed to!" He happily yelled out.

"Don't get cocky, Mr." Soyoung scolded.

"I'm gonna be so great, I'm going to get panties thrown at me." Sewoon continued, and Soyoung facepalmed.

"Yeah.. he's screwed.."

"HELL YEAH I AM!"

Max was a laughing mess because of the stories Sewoon had been telling from his high school antics with him and his strange friends. It was just them, in a festival filled with people but it had felt as if it was just the two of them in the world, them against everyone and everything else.

She missed this feeling. The feeling of youth and freedom, ever since she had moved back to Canada it was noticeable that there had been a shift in her personality. She became a workaholic in that year and a half and with her personality there was a shift in her relationship with Sewoon too.

It's no lie, she deeply loved him, but ever since Canada, it had felt different. Guilt took over her at the thought of how Sewoon must've felt when she would reject his invites to do something together just for the sake of her finishing her work.

It felt warm, his fingers intertwined with hers, and his warm coat over her small shoulders. She felt like a lovesick high schooler once again, and all she wanted to do at that moment was to kiss the beautiful man who had been walking beside her for a long time.

"Here, I wanna take you somewhere."

Sewoon began guiding her throughout the festival, eventually leaving off into another area of the park it was held at.
