"How are you guys settling in?"
"Well, it's happening. Things between Max and I have been a little different ever since we arrived in Canada, y'know after the proposal and all. But, at the end of the day I still love her, and it's been two years since then, Max has been feeling better lately which is awesome." Sewoon smiled to himself.
The guy truly loved Max, just the thought of the woman brought a smile to his face. This time he was gonna propose, but this time he was going to do this the correct way. Not rushed, not sudden, and not rejected.
"I'm going to learn from what I did wrong, I shouldn't have just busted out the question when she was clearly already stressed out with other things. And me proposing took her off guard, and this time I'm going to show her how much I truly love her. That I'm now ready to spend the rest of my life by her side and through the ups and downs. I really do love her (Y/n)."
"But I don't know what I should do. Should I just stick to my original plan from back then? or should I come up with something else?" Sewoon looked at Soyoung and you for advice.
"You should take her out this time." You began suggesting, "Make her feel special, and at the end you hit with the proposal, but with what you do best."
"What I do best?" Sewoon muttered to himself, confused as to what you meant. Soyoung then stood up and picked up a guitar in the corner of the room and hands it to him.
"If you can't say it, dude, sing it."
Sewoon looked up at you two, almost as if you two were his angels, the hopeful glint in his shows how pleased he was with your opinions and your guy's way of thinking. It was perfect.
"Where is Max right now?" Soyoung brought up, actually making you wonder where your life long best friend had skedaddled off to.
"She went out to get herself some well, lady products, she'll be back soon." Sewoon replied as he checked his watch.
"That gives you plenty of time to plan this out, when do you think would be the perfect time to propose to her.. again?" You accidentally teased, and Sewoon shot you a dirty glare.
"Honestly, I know people mostly do this sort of thing out in public, but I feel like I should do this more privately. I don't know, I just feel like it'll be more.. um.. well special?" He shrugged.
Sewoon fiddled with the strings of the guitar that he held in his hand, what if I took her out to a nice dinner, and then we take a late night walk to the park, and you guys help me out in giving her certain objects and I sing to her?"
"What do you mean, certain objects?"
"Things that mean a lot to her and our relationship. For example the necklace she wears all the time, I gave that to her on our one year anniversary, and she hasn't taken that off ever since." Sewoon went more in depth, "Basically, things that'll give her nostalgia, but of things regarding our relationship."
"And at the end of your song, how about you walk down from the gazebo, and walk to where she's stationed, and as the final object, it's the ring?" Soyoung suggested an amazing idea, which you envied her for having thought of it first.
"That sounds amazing." Sewoon's eyes gleamed, "Maybe next week?"
"Next Saturday? The 16th? That's when the festival is going on." Soyoung reminded the two of you, but instead a smirk appeared on Sewoon's face.
"Even better."
