When lunch time hit, I was relieved. I had taken so many tests that I felt like a human Encyclopedia. Then again, I more or less was. I could rewrite the schools text book and it would have more information that you wouldn't know otherwise. I nearly collapsed when I got to our table. Grey shot me a glance and I could tell that he wanted to talk later.
"Hey sis, what happened to you? The teacher sent you to the office, but you never came back. Is everything okay?" He asked. His eyes were a deep blue that could pull you under if you weren't careful.
"Yeah. I'm fine and everything is okay. I received my gift at ten instead of thirteen so I know a lot more than they expected is all. I was asked about my knowledge, talked to the Headmaster's secretary, then was sent back to my dorm. I wasn't feeling good when I got pulled out and make myself sick." He nodded and began to talk about the new movie coming out on theatres that he wanted to see. Movies was all we talked about until the bell rang, telling us we had about five minutes to get to class. "See you both later." I started to head in the direction of my dorm, but when they were far enough away that they wouldn't see me, I turned back and headed for the office.
The room was made transparent, and I loved the scenery around here. The stack of completed tests that I had done before lunch was gone. I'm sure they needed a little help to carry out those stacks, and more help to fill the stacks up again. I sighed and sat back down and began to answer them all. It seemed like time flew by. The school bell rang and it was time to be released. I asked the lady at the front desk if they were homework and she told me no. That I just needed to keep coming back until they were all done. This might take a few days. I could say there was a scheduling error. But what? I could think about that later. First, I knew that the boys would have homework so I took about seven or eight test to do as homework and left.
Thankfully they didn't see me in the hallways. I made it to my room safe and sound. When I got there I rearranged and started to make it more at home. Then I knew the perfect thing to do. I made the walls transparent to the outdoors, so I could see the scenery. I hoped that this wouldn't cause problems or anything. If it does, I'll just bend the light and make it look like I painted the walls a blue or black color. My cell phone lit up and I checked it. An unknown number texted me and I was hesitant but read the message : Hey it's me Grey. I wanted to talk to you about what happened today. I highly doubt that you were sick. Text me so we can talk. Bye. Well, leave it simple and easy. I told him that he could come over if he wanted and to just let me know when. By time I had straightened my room, there was a slight knock on the door. I opened it and I seen Grey standing there. But something was off. He looked nervous, like he was being held at gun point. He stepped in and I felt like someone was watching us. I held my finger up to my lips and he nodded. He just went over and sat on the bed. I turned on my acute hearing and hyper senses and went into hunting mode. I felt their presence and followed the aura that they were giving off. I slammed right into what would seem like nothing, but made an "oof" noise.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I asked. She snickered and flipped her blonde hair.
"How did you know that I was here. I made myself invisible. And what are you two doing in here anyway?" She shot back. I didn't know what to tell her when it all came to mind.
"Xander set up us on a date. I was coming over here to get some movies. I was thinking horror and action movies since Grey wouldn't like romance." She stared at me. But she couldn't deny it. She turned around and seen that my small and well kept movie shelf was behind her. She looked over at Grey and he just had a cool look on his face that didn't give anything away. "We were supposed to have a date a while ago, but something came up with my family. That's also the day I found out that Xander was my brother." She had a stupid look on her face.
