I am more than just a royal
I am a war hero, I am me
I am more than just a victor
I am a weapon, and weapons don't weep
I am more than just a monster
I am a wound, I am free
I am more than just a fighter
I am a runner, but I can't flee
I am tricked into this life
I am heartless, but I am not naive
I am tangled in conspiries
Bound to kill, yet forced not to grieve
I have to act like a King
People kneel before me
I am taming my humanity to become a demon
But I do not want to be the 'King to be'
Heavy is the head that wears the crown
Kings who can not swim, are forced to drown
What do I do?
I am a follower, I can not lead
I am thrust into this life
I never signed up for such a deed
To be royal by blood is how my fate is written to be
To wear the crown, or die trying to flee
I am more than just a royal, why can people not see?
Before a King who wears a crown;
I am a human,
I am me
