A deal of death, the seven deadly sins

Ah!

A potion of poison every soul so willingly drinks

Kings so full of pride and egotistical

Buried like ashes to the ground

To be proud, is a sin you see

For every pride hath a fall

How greed makes your mouth water

Shows you everything glittering to be of gold

But it fails to ever fully quench your thirst

For greed; all nature is too little, never enough

A ribbon of lust that blinds your eyes

Controls the reigns of your hearts' desires

Of all the seven deadly sins

Lust is definitely the pick of the litter

That twinge of envy that strikes your heart

That looking of longing that breaks you apart

Envy is thin because it bites but never eats

It sharpens the sight, but blinds you too, you see

Curiosity is gluttony, to see is to devour

Gluttony is the lust of the mind, use your mind power

Patience is a virtue, gluttony a sin

It's an emotional escape, a sign we've caged us in

She was fury, she was wrath and she was vengeance

Disaster was a word very little compared to her soul

The fire in her heart sent smoke to her head

Her havoc destroyed everything, but left her with a hole

"I've heard that hard work never killed anyone

But I wonder why take the chance?"

If this sloth like is how we continue to think

To be buried underground is where our fates will advance

The seven deadly sins are a deal of death

Do not sign a contract with the devil himself

This battleground is a place very deadly

Do not splatter blood on your silky satin dress

These are the seven sins

Not the virtues you suppose them to be

Get out of this grave

Before you are buried deep, deep, deep!
