hi! welcome :)

ok so i'm just going to start by saying this - i won't be surprised if this story gets literally zero reads ;-; (uplifting start, i know.)

(edit 10/26/18: well now we're at 1k reads now so like i was pretty wrong)

i've never written anything before, so cut me some slack :) grammar police, feel free to correct me, i won't feel bad, i promise!

ok let's start already

here you go~

You've been a YouTuber for six years. It's amazing. You have your own channel, (Y/YT/N), with just over fourteen million subscribers. Numbers don't matter to you though... You didn't start YouTube for the fame or even the money. The reason you started YouTube could be summed up in three words.

Daniel James Howell.

He and Phil are your YouTube idols. Your inspirations. Dan however... Your internet crush for years now. Your best friend Emma often teased you, saying how you were the girl version of him - as your YouTube and real life bestie, she justified it by saying it was "her duty" to embarrass you.

You both started YouTube around the same time and often collaborate. Emma has less subscribers than you at 10 million, but she was still very successful.

Today was the day you had been waiting for
The day you and Emma were moving to a new flat together, so that you could both focus on YouTube. You placed down the box in your hands. Something about the complex seemed oddly familiar, but you couldn't quite place your finger on it. You brushed it off and admired your new home.

(edit 10/26/18: well i'm sure you see where this is going)

"(Y/n)?" Emma called. You went through the hallway and into one of the the bedrooms, where she was standing, hands on her hips. "Dibs on this bedroom!" She said with a smirk.

"Ugh, fine." You sighed. Emma was stubborn, and you suspected that both bedrooms were identical, Emma was just pining after the gorgeous view.

All you really cared about was filming a new video. You hadn't uploaded in a while, because... procrastination. YouTube was your passion anyway, and you would often stay up until dawn editing, feeling like only minutes had passed.

You unpacked your equipment, and pressed record.

ugh, i'm sorry for such a short chapter! it's just an intro, so don't worry.... dan and phil will be here soon. :)
