Chapter Fifteen

"You watch my videos?" You asked, still unable to wrap your head around it.

"I have for a while. I've watched your first video more than I'd like to admit..."

"Wait, so the whole reason we were so awkward around each other when we first met was because we both secretly knew each other?"

"I guess so..."

You and Dan then spent about 10 minutes fully admitting how obsessed you were with each other.

"That was a really... Embarrassing conversation." You chuckled.

"Yeah... What were we talking about anyway?"

You looked down. "Well, I was kinda saying how I would, uh... Date you."

"Oh..." Dan looked at his feet. "Well, I can't believe I'm saying this, because you know I'm incredibly awkward, but I would, uh... Date you too."

You looked at him. "Really?!" Then your face fell. "N - No... You like Emma, d - don't you..?"

"What? Emma's nice, and she's a great person, but I don't have feelings for her like that! She's with Phil! Why would you ever think that?"

You couldn't hold in what you had been hiding any longer. "W - When you and Phil c - came over to film, I heard your conversation. You said 'Now that I've met her, being in a relationship with her would be interesting, especially considering the height.' Y - You're really tall, and E - Em's really short. So th - that's why it would be interesting..." You definitely sounded like a stuttering mess, but you couldn't help your emotions.

Dan seemed confused, but then he looked at you with realization. "No, no! I was talking about you! We're both really tall, so being out in public together would definitely be interesting. Like, imagine two giraffes like us going anywhere together!"

You looked up at Dan. "Oh my god. I'm so sorry! Now I've made this whole mess over something that wasn't even a big deal to begin with, and you probably think I'm-"

"(Y/n). I could never think of you as anything but what I think of you right now."

"W - Which is?"

"Absolutely perfect."

So in a mix of about twenty emotions, you and Dan shared the kiss you had always imagined.

While this might sound cliché, and a bit repetitive...

It was absolutely perfect.

*Third Person POV*
A few minutes later, Emma, Tyler, and Phil came back, letting Dan and (Y/n) out of the bathroom. In celebration of everyone being happy, they decided to binge Disney movies on (Y/n)'s laptop.

Blinded by joy, they didn't notice the little green light next to the laptop's camera turn on.

Which meant someone was watching them.

That someone...

Wasn't happy.

okay so my phone had to fuck me over and have a seizure while i was trying to write this chapter (typing and deleting stuff by itself, being slow in general, etc), so if there's any typos in this chapter let me know and i'll fix them asap.

also you know how i said this may be the last chapter in the a/n a little bit ago? yeah i had an idea to keep the plot going to heartbroken is going to continue!
