TWO MONTHS LATER

Two months had gone by since El had left Peter and moved to the city. Since the two of them broke up. They hadn't spoken to each other since the breakup which was probably for the best. El knew if she had spoken to him over the time she was recovering from the heartbreak, she would've gone all out on him. Peter hadn't seen El since she left which mean't she had not been back at Queens since she left. Things were kind of different, but not all the way different. After she had left, Peter went back to hanging out with Ned. Just like he did before he met her. Peter searched through his pocket for his phone and soon pulled it out. He was hoping he had received a message from Happy, telling him that there was a new mission, but sadly there wasn't one. A notification came from the city's news channel:

LOCAL NEWS

Eleanora Stark, daughter of Tony Stark and Pepper Pots was seen wandering the street of Queens, New York. Now we're all wondering on why she's here, but don't worry we'll figure it out as soon as we can.

Peter rolls his eyes, not believing the news. El would never come back to Queens if she was now living in the city. No one ever would. Peter looks down at his phone, sending yet another message to Happy.

MESSAGE BETWEEN
PETER AND HAPPY

Peter
hey happy just checking in.
I'm out of school at 2:45 PM,
ready for my next mission,
it's Peter btw,
Parker

Once he finished texting Happy, he scrolled up the messages to only see that it was him that had been messaging Happy. No messages back from Happy ever. A small sigh escapes from Peter as he puts his phone away as gets off the subway and makes his way to school.

"Rise and shine Midtown Science and Technology. Don't forget about your homecoming tickets."

Peter walked through the crowded hallway of Midtown. A droid had almost hit him, causing him to lean back and dodge the hit. It wasn't long until the principle took the droid and sent the kids to the office. Peter made his way to his locker, dodging all the shoulder bumps that were coming his way. Once he reached his locker, he was already wanting school to be over so he could go fight crime. Since the breakup, he was more focused on being Spider-Man then on being a boyfriend. It relieved the stress.

"Join me," A deep voice spoke behind Peter, holding up a little LEGO man. "And together... we'll build my new LEGO Death Star."

Peter felt his eyes widened as he quickly turned around to see Ned, his best friend, with a smile on his face. "What?" He asked in shock, noticing a group of cheerleaders giving them strange looks. "That's awesome. How many pieces?"

"Three thousand eight hundred and three." Ned replied, already so excited to build it.

Peter nods his head slightly, turning back around to grab his books out of his locker. "That's insane."

Ned nods. "I know. You want to build it tonight?" He asks with hope that his friend will say yes.

A small sigh escapes from Peter as he lightly shakes his head. "No. I can't tonight." He responds, slamming his locker shut. "I've got the Stark-"

"Stark internship." Ned cuts him off, already knowing why he was going to be busy. Peter nods his head, feeling slightly bad for not being able to help Ned with the LEGO Death Star but he knew if he wanted to become an Avenger anytime soon he'd have to prove Tony Stark how capable he was of fighting crime and saving people. "Always got the Stark internship."
