Peter walked out of the bathroom with his suit on and a sweater on over it. He zips up the sweater, looking back at El and Ned. El quickly pulled something out of her bag, walking to him with it in her hand. He furrowed his eyebrows, watching as she opened her hand, revealing a small object in her hand."What's this?" He asks, taking it from her hand.
"An ear piece I made." She explains, taking it back from him and placing it in his ear. "Tony taught me how to make them, and other things."
Peter stared into El's eyes, slowly nodding his head. She pulled away from him, turning around so she wouldn't make eye contact with him. She grabbed hers, placing it on her ear and turning it on.
"Now we can communicate with each other while you go find them." She explains, smiling a bit.
Peter nods his head, finally looking away from El and pulls up his hood, he soon walks out the door, leaving Ned and El alone.
"Are you sure you don't like him?" Ned asks, believing that El still had feelings for him. El glared at boy, shaking her head.
"Ask me again and I'll shock you." She threatened, taking a seat next to him. Ned's eyes widened and immediately shook his head. He leaned over, grabbing the glowy thing and longingly looking at it.
"What do you think it is?" He asked, tilting it so he could he get a better look of it.
El shrugged her shoulders, her eyes focused on the glowy thingy. She had no idea what it could be. The fact that alien tech is mixed with normal tech proves that it's not safe.
"I have no idea."

It was already almost time for the decathlon and Peter still had not showed up from last nights mission. El walked around the room, panicking of what could of happened to him.
"Peter!" El whispered exclaimed, feeling tears slowly slide down her cheeks. "Are you there?" She whispered, scared that he could possibly be dead. Once there was no answer, El froze, feeling her legs wobble. "Pete." She softly spoke, sitting onto Peter's bed.
"El?" A voice grumbled, as if it just woken up from a nap. El's eyes widened as she quickly stood up, the sound of Peter's voice ringing through her ears.
"Pete, what happened?" El rushed out, remembering a loud bang before he had gone silent. "It sounded like a gun shot."
"No I just hit my head against the ceiling of the truck." He explains, a groan following after it. He had been in pain from the collision. "I-I don-don—"
El furrowed her eyebrows, trying to hear what Peter was trying to say. "What Peter?" She asked.
"I-I—"
It cut off, taking El by surprise. She quickly reached for the ear piece, checking if something had been wrong with it. "Shit!" She exclaimed, looking up at Ned who was just as stressed as her. "We lost connection." She explains, running a hand through her hair, frustrated with the ears piece.
"Ned, Peter, El, we're gonna be late!" Liz exclaims from outside of the door, making El's eyes widen. She quickly grabs the glowy thing, tossing to Ned so he could put it in his backpack. The two walk out of the room, to see everyone waiting for them. "Where's Peter?" Liz asks, tilting her head to the side.
El felt the hair on her arm rise as Liz asked where Peter was. She felt a pang of jealously as she politely smiled. "H-He had to do s-something." She lied, hoping that Liz would believe her.
Liz furrows her eyebrows before shrugging her shoulders. She walked off with the team following behind her. El's mouth dropped open, shocked by the fact that Liz actually believed her. Ned furrows his eyebrows together as well, shocked that she believed El's horrible lie.
