At the end of school, Peter found himself already walking into Delmar's for his usual sandwich and candies. "What's up Mr. Delmar?" He greets the older man before grabbing two bags of gummy worms."Hey, Mr. Parker." Delmar speaks. "Number five, right?"
"Yeah, and with pickles, can you smush it down real flat? Thanks."
The worker nods his head before beginning to make his sandwich. Peter looks back at Delmar who had a suspicious smirk on his face. He furrows his eyebrows at the older man, crossing his arms over his chest. "What?"
"El is back in town, no?" He asks, raising an eyebrow. "You two used to come here together and order sandwiches. Where is she?"
A small groan escapes from Peter as he rolls his eyes. This whole day has just been about El's return and it was starting to get annoying. "We broke up a couple months ago." Peter answers, shrugging his shoulder. Delmar pouts his lips before tilting his head, confused.
"Why?"
Peter was starting to grow uncomfortable at the talk of the breakup. "We just did."
Delmar could sense how uncomfortable Peter was growing so he decided to drop the subject. "How's your aunt?" He smirks.
"Yeah, she's all right." Peter shrugs his shoulders, thinning out his lips while he looks at other stuff that Delmar had in his store.
"Él tiene una tía italiana muy atractiva." Delmar tells one of his workers while grinning at Peter.
Peter chuckles before nodding his head. "Como esta tu hija?" He smirks.
Delmar's grin immediately dropped once Peter finished speaking. Peter couldn't help the chuckles that escaped from him as he watched Delmar's face drop.

Peter had left the sandwich shop and went off to fight simple crime. It had already been dark out by the time El had gotten to Delmar's for a sandwich. She entered the store, realizing that no one was in here except for Delmar.
"Hey Mr. Delmar." She chirps, making the older man turn around. A gasp escapes from Delmar as he realized that it was El. "Are you still open?"
Delmar smiles at the young girl, nodding his head. "Only for you El. Number five as usual?" He asks, referring to the sandwich. El nods her head, answering the question. If Tony hadn't been her favorite adult, Delmar definitely would be.
"How are you?" She asks as he began to make her sandwich.
"The same as always." He shrugs his shoulders. "How are you? How is the city?"
El sighed, resting her cheek against the palm of her hand. "I'm great. I love it up there so much, I can't wait till I go back." El hadn't explained to Mj how she was only going to be here for part of the year. Tony wanted her to be back in Queens while he moved the Avengers Tower upstate.
"I hear you and Peter break up." Delmar speaks, taking El by surprise. "Why?"
El rolls her eyes at the thought of Peter. After today, she knew that there was no way of fixing their friendship. "He didn't want to deal with the distance." She shrugs, not really caring if she talked about it. Delmar pouts before bringing me my sandwich in a bag.
"I'm sorr-"
He cut himself off, looking outside the window of his store. El furrowed her eyebrows together, turning her head to see what he had been staring at it. Her eyes widened once she saw Spider-Man, or should she say Peter fighting of a group of burglars with Avenger masks on.
