Steve and I in our uniforms stride through the underpass and then jogging onto the private runway. We spot the helicopter jogging a little faster to see an electro disabler slam onto it. I look up to find Steve and Rhodey hovering in the air and then landing in front of us.
"Wow, it's so weird how you run into people at the airport." Tony's face appears and carries on talking "Don't you think that's weird?" he asks Rhodey.
"Definitely weird." Rhodey replies.
"Hear me out, Tony. That doctor, the psychiatrist, he's behind all of this." Steve says trying to reason with Tony.
T'Challa leaps over a truck from my right.
"Captain. Alex." T'Challa says.
"Your highness." Steve says back being respectful.
"T'Challa." I stuck with just saying his name.
"Anyway, Ross gave me 36 hours to bring you in. That was 24 hours ago. Can you help a brother out?" Tony says.
"No not really." I smile back sarcastically.
"You're after the wrong guy." Steve's answer was probably more appropriate than mine, but oh well.
"Your judgement is askew. Your old war buddy killed innocent people yesterday."
"And there are five more super soldiers just like him. I can't let the doctor find them first, Tony. I can't."
"Steve... you know what's about to happen. Do you really wanna punch your way out of this one." Natasha says appearing from a similar place as T'Challa.
"All right, I've run out of patience. Underoos!" Tony shouts out.
Next thing I know my hands are bounded together by some sort of web. I look up to see a boy possibly my age holding Steve's shield on top of the truck.
"Nice job, kid." Tony says to the boy.
"Yeah a massive round of applause, asshole." I absolutely hate being tied up. Luckily I got over my fear of it. But, that still doesn't change my mind.
"Thanks. Well, I could've stuck the landing better. It's just the new suit.. Well, it's nothing, Mr. Stark. It's-It's perfect. Thank you."
"Yeah, we don't really need to start a conversation."
"Okay. Cap... Captain... Ale.. Alex Violet. Big fan, I'm Spider-Man." Spider-Man says introducing himself to us.
"Spider-Man? Huh. Well, that explains the webs." I sort of huffed to myself.
"Yeah, we'll talk about it later. Just..." Tony said talking to Spider-Man again.
"Hey, everyone." I never waved or said hello back, I'm still holding a grudge for my webbed hands.
"...good job."
"You've been busy." Steve spoke up.
"And you've been a complete idiot. Dragging in Clint, making Alex's life worse since she's now a wanted criminal."
"I've been a criminal for a long time Tony, just never got caught. In fact technically all of us are criminals." I laughed. "We only get away with it for being 'super heroes'." I defended myself.
"There's also you 'rescuing' Wanda from a place she doesn't even want to leave, a safe place. I'm trying to keep.. I'm trying to keep you from tearing the Avengers apart."
"You did that when you signed." I scoffed remembering some occurring events at the same time.
"Alright, we're done. You're gonna turn Barnes over, you're gonna come with us. NOW! Because it's us! Or a squad of J-SOC guys.. with no compunction about being impolite. Come on." Tony begs.
