"I missed you."

Harry stroked Grace's thigh with his thumb as they sat still in the car. She placed her hand over his and brought it to her lips, kissing his knuckles.

"I missed you too Haz."

"That's a cute nickname."

She shrugged as he twisted the key into ignition and pulled out of their parking space.

"Are you going to tell me why you were there for so long?" he asked, his eyes focusing on the road ahead. It had grown dark and the miserable weather didn't help brighten the are up at all.

"Work."

"Work?" he said it questionably and she nodded quickly.

"I met this guy called Bucky, a few days ago while I was waiting for you. He told me about the shop and I went and had a look after you dropped me off. He offered me a job there."

"Grace why are you speaking to random people in the street?"

"He's a nice man Harry."

"Nice? How do you know that? You met him a few days ago?"

Grace sighed, a groan coming from her lips.

"I knew you were nice when I had only known you for a few days."

"That's not the same and you know it's not. I'm your therapist."

The words stung her a bit that he only labelled himself as that to her, yet she decided to ignore it.

"Harry. He is a great guy. I was waiting for you to come out of the centre an-"

"You met him when you were standing alone?"

"Yeah?"

"I bet he's some pervert who is trying to get into your pants."

He turned to look at her once they reached a stoplight and she had gave him an angry look.

"He is not! Just because some guy speaks to me doesn't mean he is trying to get into my pants."

"Listen to yourself Grace. Why else would he come near you?"

"God thanks!"

"You know that's not the way I meant it. I just mean why did you speak to him?"

"Harry you can't tell me who I can and can't speak to."

"Actually I kinda can. It's my job to look after you."

They began to drive down the winding roads, with only few cars around them.

"I want you to be safe okay?"

"I am safe! I'm alive and well right now aren't I?"

She sat up in her seat, glaring at him as he looked ahead.

"I'm not having this argument with you. You should know not to speak to people like that. You're not a baby Grace."

She was taken aback. He was the only person she didn't have to argue that point to. It made her feel better about herself, and more secure in the fact that he wasn't judging of her age.

"I know I'm not. But I can make my own decisions. He didn't act like a creep. If something felt wrong you know I would have come and got you."

"But you didn't."

She threw her hands into the air in frustration as Harry parked the car outside her house.

"I care about you a lot. I want you to be safe. God Grace if something would happen to you, I wouldn't know what to do with myself."
