"Guys! We have to tell you something!" Alice said running into the forest with Tristan heading to the hide out they have. Their hide out is an old car they found last year. The car is trapped with vines around it and a bunch of trees. The trees are really big so they decided to build a couple of platforms out of wood in them. Ever since then the tree has been a tree house with everything they need in it except food. They introduced this place to Tristan yesterday.

"What's the rush?" Sally asked climbing down from the tree.

"We deciphered more of the book!" Tristan exclaimed excited.

"Well what are the other dragons then?" Harry asked.

"We deciphered more than just dragons my friend." Alice said catching her breath.

"We deciphered Hiccups life story!" Tristan said.

"Who the heck is Hiccup?" James asked. "He sounds stupid!"

"Hahahahahaha!" Tristan and Alice laughed realising he had the same personality as Snotlout.

"We will tell you everything just read the papers!" Alice said handing them the papers she wrote on deciphering the book. The gang sat there and read the story.

"Now turn the page over and read the rest of his story." Tristan said turning the page for them.

I left the dragon in the cove and decided to do something no other Viking would have the heart to do. I build a new tail wing for him. I really wanted to make him fly again. If he was human and I couldn't walk I'm sure he would do the same for me. I build the tail from material and strong, light metal. The next day I went back to the cove where I see Toothless waiting for me. I couldn't think of a name so I stuck to one of the first thing I discovered about him...that he was toothless.

Us Vikings aren't good at thinking up names. I mean, just think if my name. Apparently my dad decided to name me that because my mum got the hiccups after I was born. This is why most of our names are either things or actions which isn't very creative but they work. Astrid, she was named after the astrid shower that went over Berk. Snotlout....I don't even want to know. Fishlegs, his dad caught a fish once that he thought had legs. Ruffnut and Tuffnut, they started throwing nuts at each other. This is how creative we are on Berk. We don't put much thought into things.

I walked up to Toothless with a bucket of fish to eat while I put the tail on him. I told him the type of fish I brought him and when I said eel he went crazy so I threw it away. It was like he was scared of the eel. I was pretty proud of myself for the wing. Without thinking Toothless took to the sky with me hanging on for deer life to the end of his tail. The tail wing folded itself, so we came crashing down. I quickly reached out my arm grabbing the tail and opening it. We went souring back towards the clouds. "Yes! It's working!" I yelled impressed with myself. I turned the tail left and right and we flew different directions. Toothless glided down back into the cove and shook me off his tail. The tail folded again and Toothless fell into the water with me. "YEAH!"

The next day we were fighting the Hideous Zippleback. Gobber told us that a wet dragon head can't light fire. So our job was to wet the head that sparks and not the head that breaths gas. We all failed except for me. My water bucket failed but I had another plan. I wanted to test that afraid of eels thing that Toothless had and it worked. The dragon backed away from me going back into its cage. Clearly no one saw the eel because they all had open mouths when I turned around. I just walked off feeling awesome that I was the one to succeed.

I had to make Toothless's tail work so after lots of planing and ideas I found the answer. I was going to have to ride him. I build a saddle and went to meet him in the cove. He saw the saddle and made me chase him around the cove to try and get it on him. Eventually I accomplished that struggle but now I had another challenge. I tied rope to the tail and sat on Toothless's back. He began flying and I pulled on the rope trying to open and close the tail but failed many times. I tried different designs until I finally had the perfect idea. I created stirrups and when I move the left one into different positions his tail wing will move with it. To test my theory we flew up above Berk. We glided around for a while and it all worked well. I had succeeded again. I have made a dragon that couldn't fly, fly again. After a lot of mistakes I finally figured out exactly how to use my invention. We landed on a nearby island to relax. A couple of Terrible Terrors flew up to me trying to steal Toothless's fish. I gave one of them my fish instead and it came and sat next to me. I noticed that it wasn't just Toothless that was the kind dragon. They all were we just didn't know it. Everything we knew about them was wrong.
