"Ok gang. Let's see if the animals work." Tristan instructed.
"Harry how about you first?" Alice asked. Harry walked up to the Gronckle and let his toad sit on the carving. It leaped off and onto his face as the Gronckle picture moved back.
"Cool. Well done greanleaf!" Stated Harry.
"Out of the way girl, watch a real man solve the puzzle. Do your thing Claw." James said pushing him out of the way and putting his lizard to the carving. The Monstrous Nightmare image slid back.
"Please, our snake can do a better job than that thing with legs." Sully said walking over to the door with his snake, Strike.
"No way. You get to do everything! Come on, Shoot we've got this." Sally stated pushing Sully out of the way.
"How come your snake gets the cool jobs?" He argued.
"Just someone do it!" Alice yelled.
"Fine. She can do it."
"No way you can do it." Sally argued.
"I'll do it!" Alice grabbed Shoot and placed him on the door. The Zippleback symbol moved back.
"How come you get all the fun?!" Sully whined.
"What about the Stormcutter?" Harry asked.
"I don't know. I guess we will just have to wait until we figure out what descendant it is." Tristan suggested as they all sighed.
Tristan opened the back door at home to be shocked by a barn owl flying at his face.
"Ahhhh!" He ducked and the owl went and sat on his mums arm.
"Haha, hi Tristan. Like my new pet?" She asked him scratching the top of the owls head.
"Pet?"
"Yeah. I found him about a month ago with a broken leg. I fixed it for him and let him go but now he refuses to leave my side so I guess Sorren's my pet now." She said as the owl rubbed its head against hers and flew over to Tristan. It landed on Tristan's head and made itself comfortable there.
"THATS IT!" He yelled.
"What's wrong deer?"
"Mum, can I borrow Sorren for a while?"
"Sure, just make sure he doesn't get hurt." She answered walking to the kitchen. Tristan ran over to the door with the owl following close behind.
"Please work!" He begged as he called Sorren over to the door. The bird put its foot to the door and the image of the Stormcutter slid back. "Haha! Yes! I can't believe that worked." Tristan noticed something shining on the floor and picked it up. "This is Alice's key, she must have dropped it." He thought fast and opened the door. The door rolled open rolling to the right. It looked dark. The door lead to what looked like a tunnel but it looked cold and wet. Tristan didn't care though. He just strolled straight in making himself at home, the barn owl close behind him. He wandered through until he saw a light up ahead. Walking towards it he noticed fire burning on a plank of wood. As he got closer he heard breathing. Before weak Tristan could examine the cave he was pinned to the wall with great pressure as Sorren flew home.
