After the sun goes down, they help us get to their ship without being seen. Once there, we hide downstairs with Tzeeru and Izzy. The others return to the inn to rest in comfortable beds for the night.

"We're set out to leave first thing in the morning." Tzeeru tells me. "Until then, you should be safe down here. Don't worry, you've got all of us behind you."

"Thank you." I tell him.

"Don't mention it." He smiles. "Now, go get some rest. I'm sure your day has been exhausting."

Between getting attacked by my own advisor, fleeing from my own castle, and saving this old man... Yeah, it's been pretty exhausting. I'm more than happy to finally get some rest.

I fall asleep before I know it. Soon enough, I'm waking up to the sound of some people moving some boxes around.

"Sorry if I woke you." Izzy says. "We just picked up a few more boxes to bring over to Driko. The sun is gonna be coming up soon, so you should get dressed."

"We didn't bring any spare clothes." I tell her.

"I figured, but don't worry, I went out last night to get you guys some clothes. I've got a pretty good eye, so I think these should fit."

Surprisingly enough, they do fit, so we hurry to get changed, and meet up with the others above deck.

"Lots of guards out today." Tzeeru tells us. "You three are better off staying hidden. I understand that you want to help, but for now, the best thing is to just stay hidden. We've got this."

Hailie comes downstairs with us, and asks us to help her take inventory and sort some stuff below deck. While working, we make some small talk. She's interested in hearing all about our lives back in the castle, or in Ysana's case, the woods. She's a nice girl, and offers to tell us more about herself first.

She's been helping her father out since she was old enough to walk. Her mother owned the ship with Tzeeru, but fell ill one day, and died peacefully in her sleep back home. She was devastated, and so was her father, but being so poor, they couldn't stop work to grieve for long.

"How did you guys come to help the mercenaries?" I ask.

"They asked my father to do a small delivery for him. It seems that one of the higher-ups heard about my mother's passing, and wanted to give my father a chance to earn a bit more money. As time went one, small deliveries began getting larger, and now we supply them weapons, armor, medicine, food, and more, all across the world."

She seems to be very open to us. Her life has been hard, but she seems to look on the bright side for the most part. According to her, she's made friends all over the world thanks to her work with her father. Thanks to Litchen Corp, she's also helped saved countless lives.

"Although those swords are probably also responsible for taking several lives as well." She sighs.

"So, you have lots of friends, huh?" Heroth asks. "Surely you must a boyfriend in one of these port cities that you visit so often."

She shakes her head. "No. I, uh... Guys aren't exactly my type."

Heroth seems slightly upset by that, but just shrugs. "I understand."

"So," Ysana asks, "Got a girlfriend?"

"I wish." Hailie laughs.

"Look on the bright side, you don't have to worry about your crush's father trying to murder you from the great beyond." I tell her.

"Pardon me?"

"It's a long story." Ysana mutters.

"We've got time."
