Jimin spent the next few days taking care of Jungkook.

Or, cleaning the house. Even if the younger kept on insisting he didn't need to, Jimin did it anyways.

As the AI walked around the house, picking objects off of the ground and placing them into a bin or there respectful place,
he couldn't get a certain thing Jungkook said out of his mind.

It was a few nights ago, when the AI took it upon himself to explore around the house, and give himself a little detour. It was obvious Jungkook wasn't going to anytime soon, considering he hardly spoke a word towards the smaller.

At the time, Jungkook was nowhere to be seen. He usually disappeared at random points during the day, and Jimin stopped asking him where he went.

The house wasn't a very big house. On the first floor, It only had a solid 2 rooms(one being the one Jungkook slept in, and the guest room, the one that the AI occupied.), 1 kitchen, and the living room. There was a back door that exited out the kitchen and into a garden, and then the front door near the living room.

On the top floor, that was one place Jimin has not checked out. He always stared at the set of stairs that led up, towards a more dark space. It seemed so inhabitable, and empty, as you walked by it. Jimin just knew that Jungkook almost never goes up there, by the amount of dust particles that his eye can catch, each time he walked past it.

With a new found curiosity, the AI walked towards the set of stairs, deciding he was going to check it out.

Half way up the stairs, Jimin couldn't help but notice there was picture frames all lined up on the walls. There was a lot.
The more stairs he walked up, the more he'd see. It was only when he reached the top, he realized the top floor was filled with them, some photos littered all over the floor.

Staring at them, made Jimin feel a little uneasy, he averted his gaze and looked around. His eyes catching on a door not too far away. The window nearby had no curtains, so the only light upstairs shone right on the door, cascading the whole thing with its glow.

Jimin suddenly felt as if he was in a daze, as he started to slowly walk towards it. His eyes lowering as he stopped right in front of the door, his hand reaching out slowly towards the knob.

There's just something about the room, that allured him to it. He wanted to, no, he needed to see what was inside.

As his fingers lightly graced the tip of the cold door handle, something clamped right down onto his shoulder, causing the AI to jump, his eyes snapping out of the daze.

"Don't."

Said a raspy voice behind him, thus causing Jimin to turn around slowly, only to come face to face with a familiar face. Jimin instantly catching onto the younger's tone. It didn't sound like he was angry that Jimin was up there, and he didn't sound disappointed.

He sounded sad.

"Jungkook, I—"

The younger merely shook his head, his eyes averting towards the floor.

Turning around and making his way back towards the stairs, he tilted his head towards the stairs, indicating for Jimin to follow him.

Jimin followed suite, not saying anything as they quietly made their way back downstairs.

As they reached the bottom, Jungkook walked towards the living room, taking a seat on one of the couches, a grim look on his features.

Very quietly, the AI took a seat on the chair opposite of Jungkooks. His gaze staring at the floor.

"Jungkook?" Jimin whispered softly, as he clamped his two small hands together.

Jungkook didn't say anything, just turned his head to look at the smaller one, a questioning gaze taking over.

"Why..."

Jimin started off, feeling nervous all of a sudden as he thought back to all the picture frames and the photographs that littered upstairs.

On the downstairs, there was no picture frame in sight. You could almost say it looked empty downstairs, like everything was hardly lived in.

Jimin lifted his head up, his eyes meeting Jungkooks ember ones. He squeezed his hands together tightly as he said his next sentence.

"Why were all the frames and photographs all flipped over?"

They really were, each photo was flipped over so that the actual picture wasn't present, and for some odd reason, it just gave Jimin an uneasy feeling. A feeling of sadness.

"..." Jungkook only stared blankly at the smaller one, but Jimin swore he caught a familiar sight of grief wash over Jungkooks features, before it disappeared right after.

"Because it hurts."

Then Jungkook was up, and walking towards his room, closing the door after him before Jimin could say anything else.

Jimin just sat there, staring at the empty space where Jungkook sat, an odd tightness blossoming in his chest.
