Sixteen

Jungkook couldn't stop staring at Jimin.

Normally it was because he tried to figure the AI out, how he worked. Or how he admired the way his hair looked like cotton candy and reminded him of festivals.

Yet this time it was due to slight annoyance, and out of slight concern.

Jungkook would flinch, or twitch every time Jimin made a slight movement.

Jimin was always like this, now that he thought about it. Ever since Jimin came strolling into his household.

Though it wasn't as bad as this. Jimin would be sitting there quietly, then his head would jerk roughly to the left, making an audible clicking sound.

Jungkook flinched as he watched it happen again, his finger twitching.

"Jimin."  The AI twitched, then lifted his head.

"Yes?" Click.

Jungkook cringed, as he pulled his bottom lip between his teeth. He then got up from where he was sitting and kneeled in front of the boy.

He lifted his hand and placed it on the side of his head, and flinched once more as Jimins head jerked.

Is.... is he defective?

Jungkook had no idea or held any knowledge about AI's.

"Are you okay? Why does your head keep twitching?" Jungkook asked softly, now reaching both hands up and holding the boys head still.

"S...something's loose. I think. " whispered Jimin, as he closed his eyes.

Jungkook narrowed his eyes as he studied the boys face.

"How did that happen? You seemed to be working ok when you got here..."

Jimin opened his eyes again, making contact with Jungkooks.

His hair fell over his eyes, and Jungkook took the opportunity to push his hair out of his forehead.

"I think it happened when we tumbled down the hill sometime ago." Stated Jimin, one of his hands reaching up and holding Jungkooks.

He relished in the warmth it gave off, and Jungkook didn't pull his hand away.

"Oh okay... is there a way we can fix it? Or... aish..." Jungkook worried his bottom lip once more before leaning back a little bit.

"I...I don't know who to contact about this."

Jimin stared at the sad expression that suddenly took over the youngers face.

"Yoongi hyung knows." Said Jimin, voice lowing as he watched Jungkook cowering more towards the back. The AI took it to lean more forward, not wanting to lose contact with the younger.

Jungkook stared at the ground then, his chest filling with anxiety.

"I... I never talked to him in almost a year, Jimin." He whispered sadly.

Jimin leaned more forward and pressed his forehead against the youngers, closing his eyes.

Jungkook let out a small sigh as he let his eyes flutter shut also, he felt his anxiety ease up and he took a breath in.

"He misses you." Said Jimin. "If you think he'll get mad at you I'm sure he won't."

Their noses brushed softly against one another's as Jungkook nodded slightly. He felt something flutter inside him again, this time it wasn't his anxiety.

"Ok." He mumbled, letting his head drop slightly, as he leaned down and rested his forehead against the AIs shoulder.

"I lost his number though, I don't know how to contact him."

Jimin only smiled softly at this, one hand reaching up and caressing through Jungkooks hair gently.

"I do."

"I do." Said Yoongi over the phone, raising an eyebrow in the process.

"Great!" Jimin smiled slightly, looking over at a worried Jungkook.

"Who?" He asked once more.

Yoongi leaned back in his chair as he pushed his glasses back up his nose.

"Dr.Kang can take a look."

Jimins face dropped.

"But I don't wanna see him." The AI whined.

Jungkook stared intently at the side of Jimins face, curiosity flooding over his features.

"Hush now. I'll take you to him, okay?" Said Yoongi over the phone, his fingers typing over a keyboard as he spoke.

"Ok..." sighed Jimin, his head tilting as he glanced back at the maknae.

"We'll both be waiting. You know where Jungkook lives."

It was at this, that had Yoongi leaning forward instantly in his chair.

"B..both?" He asked, baffled. He didn't think Jungkook would ever agree to be in the same room as him again.

"Yeah." Said Jimin, his eyes scanning over Jungkook as he spoke. Jungkook avoiding his gaze, as he tilted his head to stare at a wall.

"The both of us."
