"Are you sure?" Asks a small shaky voice, hands fumbling with his sleeves as he stares down at a smaller figure.
"Ofcoarse."
"I no longer have a reason to exist."
In a dark building that's more empty then it could ever be stood two boys. Well, not exactly boys, but more like two boys who only ever wished they can be whole again.
One was a boy with fading pink cherry hair, who's dream was for the happiness of a certain younger male that he's always held so close to his heart.
The other? Was a small boy who's only ever known one person. His hero, his reason to live. That person was gone, and he wasn't even fully alive or whole anymore. It was because of his hero's action and himself standing by that things ended up this way.
His name was Kai.
Sweet, small, innocent Kai. He's always been here, always in the corner, always hiding behind Rays back. If only he used his voice would Ray not have done what he did? Would he have chose a different road, another path. Then maybe everyone could have been happy.
Instead, he choose and lost himself into the dark path of anger and overwhelming devastation.
This was the last thing Kai could do to make things right. He had no seconds thoughts about it as he reached towards the side of his neck, fingers digging into the fabric of his skin.
None of Kai were human anymore, he was a full on artificial being. None of him before he died was even there before, causing him to start forgetting who he really was, his mind was already disintegrating.
Jimin was still half, Jimin still had a chance, an opportunity to fully live and to fully love again.
"Make the best of this life, yeah?" Says Kai, his smile soft as he stares up at Jimin. His green hair falling over his eyes.
"Hey... wait." Says Jimin, stumbling forward, hands reaching out.
"I truly hope you and Jungkook can live happily now."
Then Kai's fingers are jabbing deeper, fingers finding and grasping onto the familiar chip.
He reaches his hands out then, holding out the chip towards Jimin, hands starting to feel heavy as he feels himself shutting down.
"Take good care of it, yea?"
The chip falls into Jimins hands as Kai leans against the wall, sliding down slowly until he's fully seated.
His eyes are flashing intently at first before they light starts to seem dim.
"N-no..." Jimin gasps as he runs ahead, instantly holding onto Kai.
"You don't have to do this, I... we can both live again."
"Hey."
The AI sits up instantly, an unfamiliar voice catching him off guard.
"Over here."
Jimins head now turns towards a computer perched upon a table in the far corner. The screen lit up, and small lines bouncing up and down as the tone rises and lowers.
"Bring Kai over here, will you?"
Jimin wasn't to sure about listening to a random being on a computer, but he himself is also one too so that thought instantly vanished as he frantically grabbed Kai's body and carrying him to a nearby table before placing him down.
"Uhm—?"
"No need to ask questions. We don't have a lot of time. Lets just say my old mans not as smart as he thinks he is, okay?"
