Jimin could never get that room out of his mind.
His body literally itching, just to take a look inside. He wanted to ask Jungkook about it, ask him what was inside, and why Jimin wasn't allowed inside. Yet the older just couldn't bring himself to ask it, he didn't want to pester the younger too much, considering he was still sick and Jimin didn't want him to faint again.
Things were still awkward between the two, and Jungkook still refused to speak a word unless needed to. He was quiet, and kept to himself most of the time. Jimin, was bad at human interaction, so he almost never knew what to do.
Which was why Jimin took it upon himself to learn how to cook.
He did have to get in contact with one of the hyungs, to ask for instructions. It only took an hour for a small knock to sound at the door, and when Jimin answered it, he came face to face with a smiling Jin.
He was holding what appears to be books in his hands, and when Jimins eyes scanned over the covers, he saw that they were indeed cook books.
He made sure to thank the older before he left.
It was when Jimin was gathering ingredients, his eyes scanning over the pages as he did so when he heard a quiet thump from upstairs. His ears instantly picked up on alert—his hands halting whatever they were doing.
He put everything down, as he slowly walked towards the edge of the stairs, as quietly as he can.
The sound of shuffling can be heard, and the sound of something opening, causing himself to raise an eyebrow.
Jimin instantly started to walk up the stairs quietly—a sudden thought of someone else who's not Jungkook being inside made him nervous.
As he made it to the top, his eyes longingly stared at the door of the room he so dearly wanted to look in, yet the noise was eminently coming from the opposite door.
As he walked towards it, Jimin was careful not to step on any of the photographs in the process.
The moment Jimin was in front of the door, he saw that it was cracked open enough for him to see through. Lightly bending his head down he looked through the peek. At first what caught his eye was the speckles of dust that rose through the air, clearly visible from the sun beams that leaked through the curtains.
The room he was looking into—was another bedroom.
And in the room, everything looked as through it had been thrown around.
Cracked picture frames, papers littered, clothes thrown. When Jimin scanned his eyes towards the window, he caught hold of caramel locks. He relaxed instantly, seeing as it was only Jungkook, but something inside him tightened more as he watched the younger.
He sat outside on what looked to be a roof, his hands visibly covering his face, as his shoulders shook slightly. Jimins hand twitched slightly as it unknowingly reached towards the doorknob and pushing it open slowly.
Jimin walked in slowly, as if he was in another daze. His eyes shifted to what looked like a drawling book, laid out on the bed and he refrained his curiousity of wanting to look at it. Yet from what he can see, was what looked to be a drawn side profile of a face.
Turning his head, Jimin walked towards the window and crawled out slowly, making his way towards the younger.
As he sat down, Jimin curled his arms around his legs as he rested his chin on his knee.
Jungkook instantly pushed his hands away from his eyes, finally taking in the presence of Jimin.
"You.... what are you doing here?"
And Jimin didn't say anything, he just sat there quietly, his gaze fixated on the now setting sun.
Jungkook only stared at the AI, a curious but sad glance in his eyes as he did so. He didn't have it in him to get mad.
There were certain moments during the day or any time at all in which Jungkook would get triggered, which would cause him to burst into a fit of tears. He hated it, and it was partially the reason he stopped letting people see him, Jungkook didn't like to appear weak.
He studied the way the sun glowed upon the AIs face, highlighting his features making him appear more innocent in a way. The way his pink locks scattered into his eyes as the slight wind blew, and the way his bottom lip formed into a small pout as he sat there, staring at the setting sun.
Jungkook almost admired how he really did look so real. Yet he couldn't, because it caused a burning in his chest. The younger instantly averted his eyes.
He sighed as he sat in a more comfortable position as he took it upon himself to look towards the sunset.
He was almost glad that Jimin didn't say anything. Like he knew that saying something then would be meaningless.
Jungkook would also never admit, that AI Jimin had a calming aura to him, they didn't need to say anything.
Because just the presence was enough.
It was after this day, that even though it was minor, things seemed to change just a little bit between the two.
