'Go To Sleep' Might Actually Be More Than A Shitty Catchphrase

Jeff the Killer said 'Go To Sleep' ONCE, TO HIS BROTHER, WHILE STABBING HIM!!!

Legitimately, Jeff didn't say to his parents at any point, he says 'Go to sleep' to his brother while stabbing him which in a way, should probably cause some feeling of loss between Jeff and Liu as a family, more than between his parents. Jeff cared for Liu (At least that how I think their relationship is suppose to be interpreted) and, honestly, Jeff killing his brother is more like severing his connection to his old life.

If you think about it, Jeff probably spent a portion of his childhood as the big brother, telling his brother 'to go to sleep', so his brother would relax upon seeing him and sleep. Maybe in Jeff's head it was a way to get Liu to go to sleep, and maybe he wasn't thinking that he was killing his brother.

I don't know, JTK's 'Go To Sleep' line kind of has some sentiment tied to it when you realize, Jeff never said it to his parents.

So Jeff, being made to say it anytime he kills (or threaten to kill) anyone, kinda steals how important those words might have been between the two brothers, siblings who cared about each other.

So, yeah, maybe DON'T make him say it to every time he's going to kill someone.

Maybe reserve for people who are on the same level as Liu, which will be no one ever.
