Luckily Percy didn't seem to notice Nicos drawings, as he seemed pretty preoccupied. Nico didn't think anything of it as he just thought it was Percy's ADHD making him spaz a bit, but for Percy it was a whole other story. "Wanna get some dinner?" Nico asked, knowing his eating would make Percy feel better. Percy stopped in his tracks as he tried to sit up realizing he was dealing with something. "You okay?" The taller boy nodded and gulped, "Uh, yeah I think I'm gonna just quickly take a shower though," "Okay, well I can make dinner if you want?" "I like that idea," the green eyed boy beamed. Nico replies with a grin, and Percy could almost see a twinkle of happiness in his eyes, "Okay I'll be right out," Percy gets up, and quickly shuffled to the bathroom. Nico shifts his gaze to the blue notebook he holds in his hand, in an instant he shoves it into his backpack, then struts to the kitchen.
Nico has no idea what to make, as the kitchen was practically empty. He opens the fridge and is greeted with some tomatoes, he looks to his left and in the condiment tray is a tube of pesto, and a sad clove of garlic. He looked in the blue cupboards, and on his tippy toes he could see a cardboard box. Hoping it was what he was thinking Nico climbed onto the countertop reaching for the box. The lid was open, and the box half empty Nico found dehydrated bow tie pasta. In his mind he was winning, and when he plopped back on the ground he did a small/short dance of happiness. His mind went to work, he chopped the tomatoes, he boiled the spaghetti, he crushed that garlic, like put him on Hell's Kitchen. As Nico was turning off the pasta about to drain it, Percy walked in.
Nico was about to drop the pot he was holding when he noticed Percy. He was wearing an unzipped light blue hoodie with no shirt, grey boxers, and sweatpants. Though, his pants hung loosely off his waist, and his boxers waistband hugged his chiseled torso nicely. Water beads dropped from his hair onto his chest, then rolled off. Percy was holding his phone in one hand, while the other combed through his slick hair. His stunning aqua eyes were transfixed on the cell he was holding. The tall boy locked his phone, then looked up at Nico smiling. Nico proceeded to blush as hide his embarrassment with his own raven curly hair. He distracted himself with the task of pouring the excess water out the pot, careful not to let the pasta spill out, and wash down the garbage disposal. "Smells good," The sculpted boy beamed. Nico blushed harder at the compliment enjoying Percy's voice which was deeper, and more grizzled than normal, just shrugging as he skidded across the kitchenette grabbing plates.
With the wide variety of options for, Nico looked up at the clock, an eleven pm dinner, he thought he did a pretty good job. The two boys sat down at the small dining table, and ate quietly. To Nicos surprise after his second bite he looked up, and Percy just sat there holding a glass of water which confused the boy until he glanced down, and Percy's plate was empty. Percy smiled while sipping his water, "Enjoyed your meal?" Nico laughed, "Well, it was no mcdonalds happy meal, but it was good," Percy shrugged, "I guess." He laughed while sipping his beverage, and winked at Nico.
Percy offered to do the dishes as he was happy to see Nico eat so much in a day. Percy had such a maternal energy surrounding Nico he just wanted to see Nico safe, and happy. Once Percy was done with the dishes he joined Nico at the couch. Nico felt the couch dip next to him as the tall boy sat down. "What should we watch?" Percy questioned, though Nico just thought it was rhetorical question, so he kept quiet. Percy looked over at him in a way that said seriously what do you want to watch. "I don't care. I don't watch a lot of movies," Percy nodded, but then the realization kicked in. "So, you've never seen Camp Rock!" Nico made a look of confusion to which Percy exploded with euphoria. "Oh gods, we gotta watch it!" Percy jumped up from the couch, "but not like this , oh no, we need to be more prepared," Nico couldn't be more confused when Percy grabbed his hands, and yanked him to his feet, "We, my friend are going on a 7/11 midnight shopping spree," "7/11 isn't that when America got attacked by terrorists?" "Oh, Nico," Percy said grabbing him, and patting his head, to which Nico grunted, "you have much to learn."
