Nico
When the boy opened his eyes it was slightly light out. The sun was just about to rise, and Percy was spooning the small framed Nico. He didn't remember shifting places from last night, but he enjoyed the warmth of Percy next to him. He pulled his head up, but Percy's grip was hard. He had enough movement to reach up and grab his phone.
  6:20: Wednesday, January 27th
Oh good he didn't miss school, WAIT WEDNESDAY! Nico tried to maneuver his way in Percy's arms so he could turn and wake Percy up. The he wish he didn't have too. Percy was beautiful right now even with the drool that stained the pillow, and the strong arms around his body.
Nico wanted to stay forever, but he had already miss two days of school, and a project. His father would kill him. If he even realized he left the house.
"Percy," Nico wished he could wake up Percy by peppering kisses all over his face, he wish they could kiss hungrily and not leave because them kissing could move to more things, but alas the arms that were heavily wrapped around him were just platonic. Maybe one day it could be real.
When Percy didn't stir after Nico spoke his name he tried once more, another time, then again. He soon started poking his face, but it didn't work soon Nico resorted to screaming, "PERCEUS!" soon the arms wrapped tightly loosened and left leaving nothing, but cold, and a tired Percy bolting up in bed.
"Wha, wha, what." Nico chuckled at the frantic boy. "Morning, Sleeping Beauty, enjoy your sleep?" "I was, but then you interrupted it and I had to wake up." Nico laughed once more getting out of bed. "It's Wednesday and we need to leave for school in like an hour." "Wait, fuck, it's Wednesday?" Nico smiled enjoying Percy's grizzled morning voice "Yeah, remember when I said sleeping beauty?" Percy just put his head in his hands, while wiping the sleep from the crease in his eyes. "Anyway, you want a shower? I can make breakfast and then I'll go get ready," Nico offered. "No, Nico you don't have to do that for me," "But i want too!" Nico protested like a five year old, causing Percy to blush, "Alright, I'll be there in 10 lemme shower, and stuff." Nico nodded threw some sweatpants on off the floor and walked out the door.
As Nico pulled out some bread from the fridge he was left to his own devices. He thought about how this might be the last time he would make breakfast for Percy.
He  thought about a life where he and Percy could be together, Percy finished in the sink towel hung around his toned hips walking towards Nico wrapping his arms around his waist and kissing his head good morning, sadly that could never happen.
As the toaster button was pressed, the sounds of a stove top clicked on as Nico twisted the temperature dial. Nico sighed audibly sighed adding a slab of butter to the pan causing it to sizzle, and melt.
As, the eggs cracked he thought about how he couldn't borrow any of Percy's clothes again, Sally had washed and dried his clothes. Maybe Percy would let him borrow a hoodie. Literally anything of Percy's clothes would suffice, although not ideal Nico would totally steal a pair of his socks. Though, even he wasn't creepy enough to do that.
Just as the toast popped up Percy walked in. "Hey," his voice still slightly rough from sleep. His hair was wet and messy, as if he just towel dried it, oh how Nico would love to run his hands throu—stop.
"That for me?" Percy said snapping Nico from his thoughts, "Oh this nah you get your nasty ass untoasted pop tarts," Nico joked winking. He didn't notice, but Percy has a rose hue dusted his cheekbones.
"Yeah, here," Nico passed the plate filled with toast, and eggs. "I already had some toast so I'm alright I'm gonna go take a shower," Percy nodded his head as he went to sit down, "Alright I'll clean up after I'm done." Percy smiled and tucked it.
That thing about Nico eating was a lie. How could he eat when the thought of him and Percy never talking again crept into his mind. Also, Nico had his thing about eating. Even though Percy knew about his old depressing habits and had seen him basically naked he still hated eating in front of others, and eating in general.
Nico walked into Percy's room taking mental photos of everything he could see. The random cables next to his nightstand, the 64 pack of crayons on his desk, obviously the fish hanging from his ceiling, and a picture of his mom, and him at the beach from when he was around 13.
He grabbed the jeans that lay limp on the ground a random towel, and proceeded to walk into the bathroom.
The hot water slowly ran down the boys back relaxing him of his anxieties about leaving this place, he stole Percy's shampoo and shower gel hoping the smell would remind Nico of Percy's scent, but sadly it just made him miss Percy more.
The curtain was pulled and Nicos frail body stepped out the steamy shower and onto the cold tile floor, quickly wrapping the towel around his body quickly as the air was freezing him. He dried the top part of himself fast so he could slid on his shirt then the hoodie he stole from Percy.
Soon after came his underwear then his heavily pre-ripped jeans. Nico wiped the steam off the glass unhappy with the image that looked back. He quickly towel dried his hair, brushed his teeth, and tried to style the mop eventually giving up.
His hand came in contact with the metal doorknob, Nico was scared to open it. He never wanted to leave Sally. He didn't know her that well, but he could tell she cared about Percy, and vice versa. He just wanted a family like that. Hades did care about him, but he wasn't around much, and his stepmom never really paid attention. Hazel was her favourite, Hazel was everyone's favourite, especially after the accident.
Nico opened the door, and sucked in a breath of air as he walked to get his backpack. "You ready?" He heard a voice say behind him. Percy. Nico slowly nodded, but in reality he wasn't. He wasn't ready to leave this place, the love they shared. He didn't want to leave Percy. After, they present their projects today in English, their friendship will be nothing, but a bad dream, and without Percy, he would be getting a lot more of those.
Nico followed Percy out the door scanning the lines on his back and the curves of his muscles. Slightly blurry, but he wasn't wearing his glasses so it was a given. He would have to put them on once he got to school as he would need them, but he despised those plastic rimmed pieces of glass.
The car journey was silent. Nico's head was filled with thoughts it wasn't until he was standing outside the school building, and Percy snapping his fingers in front of Nico's face did he realize he had to go to school, and face reality. He would probably not see Percy ever, have to go home tonight, have his nightmares back, and present in front of people today. Just one step into the warm building from the cold exterior, Nicos stomach dropped.
