Chapter 10: Soggy Papers

Percy

The hot water rolled down Percy's body rinsing the chlorine from his body. The shampoo mixed with the chlorine and it stung slightly in Percy's eyes. His hair almost crispy from the chlorine, he ran his hand through his natural black hair rinsing it of any chemical. Percy laughed as he watch Jason try to look for the conditioner as his vision was blurry due to no glasses. He had seen it a million times, but it was always hilarious to him soon enough Jason slipped and fell, "Ow, my ass!" The two started cackling and their giggles bounced off the tile wall. He shut the water off and went to grab a his friends hand to help him up when he heard a faint splash. His gaze went to Jason who also heard it. Jason's hand slip from Percy's grip as he turned towards the noise, "uh OW!," The boy went wide eyed when he realized what might've happened, "Nico,"  Percy slipped as he tried to run out the boys changing room trying to get to Nico. He didn't know what happened, but his mind was sure Nico was in danger.
The heavy wooden door creaked as Percy slammed it open trying to find the obsidian eyed boy. When he saw the pool Nico was not where he had been, neither was his sketchbook. His bag and phone where lying there as if nothing had happened. Percy's head spinned as he had looked for him. Suddenly, in the corner of his eyes a bubble rose to the top of the 13 ft deep end disturbing the once, stagnant water. Percy didn't like the idea, but when he walked a few steps over, he saw a still boy at the bottom.
Percy dived head first as soon as he saw Nico at the bottom. The bubbles clouded his vision, and the chemicals burned the corners of his aqua eyes, ears popping as he dove downwards, he felt as if he'd never swam faster. The swimmer reached out a hand, and grabbed a black skull shirt.
