Silence

Chapter 3

Elizabeth's P.O.V

I can't believe it, someone besides Diane is talking to me. I stood there shocked and frozen in place. I felt a hand on my shoulder that snapped me out of my thoughts.

I turned to see Diane smiling at me, then King. She smiled brightly, "Good morning Elizabeth," She said while turning to face king, "Good morning king." He smiled softly at her.

"Good morning Diane," He replied blushing slightly. Maybe he has a crush on her, I'll ask Diane later. Oh wait, if he has a crush she might have a crush on him.

King began to walk inside school, me and Diane soon followed. Second grade I get two friends, this year will be a little more fun then the last year. I smiled to myself, and followed my friends to class. 

Through out the school year, King became closer to Diane and I. It was near the end of the year, that I helped Diane. 

We were walking out of school, and going to the beach. After we arrived, we set down a blanket on the sand. King turned his head to face me and Diane. 

"Hey guys, if I show you something promise not to tell any one." He spoke quietly while leaning closer to me and Diane. We nodded and watched King float up. 

"Spirit spear chastiefol second form, guardian." King said, and his pillow turned into a giant green bear. Diane and I stood there in shock, king was blushing. The giant green bear turned into a pillow again and he floated down towards Diane and I. 

"King!!! that's so cool!!!" Diane shouted while hugging King tightly. He was blushing madly, and she was blushing at her sudden actions. 

"R-really," He replied shyly as Diane let him go. She nodded her head and they both turned to look at me. I nodded and smiled at both of them. 

"Hey Diane, is there something you want to tell king?" I asked looking at Diane, her face went as red as a tomato.

"Ya, but how about we play truth or dare first?" She asked me as she sat down on the blanket. I sat down in front of her and King sat next to her. We heard foot steps and looked over to see a boy with bright orange hair walking towards us. 

"Is it fine if I join you guys? My name is Arthur Pendragon. My friends left me I was walking around and saw you guys, you are in the same class as me." He smiled brightly, he waited for a response. I looked at King and Diane and the agreed.

"Sure, we were about to play truth or dare." I told him as he sat down.

"Ok, who's going first?" He asked looking at King and Diane. They both pointed to me and I looked down for a moment.

"King, truth or dare?" Arthur asked looking at king. He slightly blushed and glanced at Diane.

"Truth," He replied looking at Arthur. Arthur looked surprised by kings reply, and looked at me.

I smiled and whispered, "Ask him if it's true that he likes Diane." He nodded and smirked at king, who looked back at him confused.

"Is it true that you like Diane?" He asked while he kept his smirk. King blushed madly and looked up at Diane. She was also blushing, he looked back at Arthur and nodded.

"Oh thank goodness!!! I was afraid that you would say no." Diane said as she hugged King tightly, he kept blushing madly and hugged her back. King let go of Diane and she frowned slightly, then he kissed her on the cheek. She backed up blushing, and looked at King who was smiling. 

"Well Diane, want to be my girlfriend?" He asked moving closer to Diane, who nodded and hugged King again.

"Ok, Arthur truth or dare?" I asked turning to face him. When I did I saw the blonde boy named Meliodas looking at us. He was more focused on Arthur, I nudged at Arthur to look up. 

"Truth, and ignore him. He was one of the people that ditched me, said he had to go find Liz." Arthur sighed and turned back to face me. I frowned a bit, but decided to ignore it for now. 

"Is it true that you want to be friends with me?" I asked shyly, after all people typically just ignored me. 

"Yes, you seem to have friends that are loyal. I wish I had friends like that, but I am a prince so people become my friend. after they find out I am a prince they ignore me." He replied looking down and fiddling with the blanket. 

I giggled a little and saw Arthur look up at me with a confused look on his face. "Oh, I know exactly how you feel Arthur, but these two became my friend, maybe they will become you friend as well." I smiled and turned to see Diane and King slightly blushing. 

"Sure I don't know people ignore Elizabeth, she nice, sweet, loyal, and awesome." Diane said as she looked at me. I blushed and looked up to see King nodding in agreement. Suddenly I felt a strong arm around my waist, I was being pulled away from the blanket. I looked up to see the blond boy holding my waist, I stood up and looked at him. 

He didn't say anything as his grip tightened. "U-um, why are you h-holding me?" I asked looking up at the blonde boy. He was glaring at my friends, who looked at him very confused. He continued to stay silent, I tried to free myself from his grasp. I didn't get very far, the more I struggled the closer and tighter he held me. 

"Meliodas, let go of her!" Arthur yelled as he started to walk over to me and the blonde haired boy. So his name is Meliodas, I wonder why he won't let go. I was blushing madly at this point and gave up on trying to escape. Although he was only using one arm, he managed to hold me still. 

Once Arthur reached us he grabbed my wrist, but Meliodas removed his hand from my wrist and looked up. We saw the king and his two daughters walking towards us. 

Arthur looked behind him and backed away from me and Meliodas.

"Thank you for keeping your promise Meliodas, now will you escort my daughter back to the car?" He asked while looking at Arthur, Arthur looked down and started to walk away. King and Diane sat there frozen, Meliodas pulled me to the car. He kept quiet, once we got to the car he let go of me. 

After opening the door he stepped aside and let me get in. I got into the car and looked up to see Meliodas with a poker on. He closed the door gently and walked away, soon after other car door opened. My father and sisters entered the car, but they kept quiet.

The whole car ride home was quiet. I didn't understand why I had been taken away from my friends, or why it was Meliodas who took me away. I looked out the car window and saw the gate to our castle open. 

Once the car stopped I opened the door and almost ran inside. I saw my bedroom door and bolted for the door, but I was stopped as I felt the strong arm on my waist again. I looked back to see Meliodas who had another poker face. Although I have to admit the poker face was better then the glare.
