Silence

Chapter 5

Elizabeth's P.O.V 

I was blushing madly, I turned around to see it was Meliodas who was holding me. He looked down at me and then looked at the clock. I gasped and tried to get up, but was brought back down. The grasp around my waist tightened again, and I heard someone knock on the door. 

"Come in," I said blushing more. A maid entered and looked at Meliodas then at me, she didn't say anything. She put my school clothes on my couch, bowed and then left. As soon as the door closed Meliodas let go of me, and got off my bed. 

He looked at me expectantly, I just sat there frozen. What just happened...? Why was he acting so weird......? Why does he not talk to me, but hold me....? 

I felt him poke me, and I looked up at him. He pointed to my clothes and I sighed. Oh wait, I can see Diane and King at school! I jumped off my bed and ran over to my clothes, I was about to change. 

Then I looked behind me to see Meliodas staring daggers at me. 

"U-um Meliodas?" I asked shyly as I blushed again. He didn't say anything instead he walked over to the door. He glanced at me, before leaving the room. I heard the door shut, so I began to change. 

Once I was done changing I grabbed my bag and went to the door. I opened the door and began to walk out of the castle. I heard foot steps behind me, I looked back to see Meliodas following right behind me. Perhaps he would like to walk with me? I smiled to myself and stopped, but when I stopped so did he. 

I turned and looked at him, he was staring daggers at me again. Although he didn't move at all, instead he just stood there. I sighed in disappoint and started to walk out of the castle again. Of course when I started walking so did he. 

I got outside to see my limo, after I got in I scooted over to the window. After sitting there for a min or two I realized the car was moving. I heard the door open, Meliodas got in and looked over at me.

Not long after Meliodas got in, the limo started to move. Once we arrived to school I jumped out of the limo and started to run into school, but yet again was stopped. I felt his strong arm around my waist again. I turned to look at him and had an irritated look on my face. 

He didn't say anything instead he looked at the limo driver who sighed. "Lady Elizabeth, it is not good for you to run every where. After all you could trip and fall, which means you could hurt yourself." He stated giving me a bored look. 

"Does that mean you have made Meliodas my baby sitter?" I asked blushing slightly. He didn't answer instead he got into the limo and drove away. I sighed in defeat and gently pushed Meliodas' arm away. 

I walked into school, which means it took longer to get to class. I don't mind Meliodas' hold- wait. No I should mind, he's not my boyfriend. Next time he holds me I will tell him to stop, maybe..... Wait does this mean... I have a crush on him...? I felt my face heat up, and I shook these thoughts away. 

"Elizabeth!" I heard Diane shout as she ran up to hug me. She tightly wrapped her arms around me, and I looked over to see King walking towards me. I hugged her back tightly as I could, but Diane is much stronger then me...

"Hey Diane," I said quietly, she was hugging me rather tightly. I was starting to have trouble breathing. That's when I felt someone pull me and Diane apart. I looked over to my right to see Meliodas shaking his head no at Diane. 

She pouted and looked over at King. He sighed heavily and opened his arms for a hug, she hugged him tighter then she hugged me. Poor King, he most be having trouble breathing already. The teacher walked in and we all went to our seats. 

"Okay you guys it's your last day, next year you will all be third graders. I would just like to wish you all good luck next year. As your last activity I would every one to talk to at least one new person. It's better to have more then one or two friends." Ms. Rachel said as she sat down in her chair and looked at everyone. 

A boy with light blue hair walked over to me, King, and Diane. "Hey guys i'm Ban~" He sang as he sat down in front of King. King and Diane smiled and said hello to him as well. He looked at me expectantly, I looked up at him. 

"H-hello I'm E-Elizabeth, nice t-to meet you B-Ban" I stuttered as I smiled warmly at him. 

"No need to be afraid of me princess~" He sang leaning closer to me. I backed away slightly, and blushed a little. 

"O-okay," I said shyly, leaning closer to Ban. He seemed nice, but something weird was going on here. It seemed as though King and Diane already knew Ban. That was the only weird thing, I could still feel Meliodas staring at me. I felt uncomfortable under his stare, it made me blush. 

"Princess? Are you ok?" Ban asked worriedly snapping me out of my thoughts. I looked up to see Ban, King, and Diane all giving me a worried look. I smiled softly at them and nodded. Although my blush stayed. 

We all chatted for a while, the final bell rang and we all got up to leave. Ban went back to his group, that's when I noticed it and stopped walking. "Hey, I thought Arthur said he was in our class, but how come he's not here?" I asked looking around the room. 

"I believe he said he wasn't feeling good, he said he thought he got sun sickness," Diane replied. I sighed and began to walk out side, I looked behind me. King and Diane were walking away, but Meliodas just stared at me blankly. 

I didn't say anything, it was obvious he was forced to watch over me. I sighed and wished that he would talk to me, he could at least tell me why he was acting to weird. 

Suddenly I felt his strong arm pull me back, I looked over to see that someone was about to hit me. They stopped and jumped out of there car, they apologized a bunch of times. I kept telling them that it was fine. 

The limo arrived and I got in, I glanced over to see Meliodas getting in as well. I looked out the window the entire ride home. I wonder if he will stay with me all summer, if he does will he stay in my room like last night? Or will father give him a guest bedroom? How long does he plan to be my baby sitter? Wait if was he getting paid to do this? Hold up did my father hire this guy to be my baby sitter?

A/N I updatedddddd, but  school starts tomorrow, that should be bad news. It's not, after  tomorrow I have all weekend, which means I can hopefully update it some more. XD
