Chapter 12

Elizabeth

After I shrugged off the fact that I wanted to hear his voice, I actually imagined hearing him talking. I sighed in complete and utter disappoint in myself. I can't believe I actually did that, I actually imagined him talking. 

I felt someone poke my shoulder, I looked up to see meliodas smiling at me. "Are you not going to say hi back?" He asked, as he scooted closer to me. My cheeks heated up again and I sat there in total shock. Wait, so I didn't imagine it? He did in fact talk to me? He can talk? I sat there will a shocked look on my face, and he scooted even closer. Our faces were inches apart, and I looked at him in disbelief. 

He never talks to me, not in all the years I've known him. "u-u-um h-hi?" I stuttered horribly as I leaned back away from him. He looked slightly hurt when I backed away, but I decided to ignore that. Wait, why is he talking to me? Why does he even bother to waste his time on me? I looked down. 

"How are you elizabeth, you seem to be acting rather odd today." He said as he scooted back away from me. 

I kept looking down, and ignored him. He didn't say anything else, although I did feel him shift closer to me. "Why are you talking to me sir meliodas?" I asked as I looked back at him with an emotionless face. He leaned back, and seemed to be surprised by my sudden question. 

Although he didn't respond, instead he moved away from me and looked forwards. I sighed and looked around the room once more, it seems like everyone has finally chosen their seats. Diane and king were about four seats in front of me and meliodas. Escanor and ban sat about four seats next to us. Merlin and gowther sat closest to the door. The class room was pretty big, it felt weird, there was a huge class room, yet only eight people sat inside of it. 

"Alright class, now that everyone has taken their seats, I will begin to explain your first lesson. You will take this sheet of paper, you will fill out as much as you can. This sheet of paper is about your partner. I know all of you have been friends for a while, you even have a group name. The seven deadly sins, and princess elizabeth, as I understand it you kept close to meliodas. Therefore everyone knows each other, now will one person from each group come and get a paper, then you may began. After about an hour, every one will present their partner." She said as she sat down in her chair and put the papers on the front of her desk.

Meliodas got up to get the papers. He was talking with his friends ban, king, and merlin. They were all laughing, and smiling. They seemed to be close friends with meliodas. The teacher got annoyed and told them to hurry up. 

They got quiet and quickly grabbed their stuff, everyone went back to their table and began working. Meliodas put a piece of paper in front of me. I grabbed a pencil out of my bag, and so did he. 

I looked at this paper, then at our teacher. I gave her a confused look, I just by the first sentence I can tell she is going to be a weird teacher. 

Help your teacher learn about you (by using your partner) I looked down at the paper and began to fill out what I thought I knew. 

What's your full name? Meliodas...... Favorite food? Unknown....... Favorite color? Unknown....... Pet peeves? Unknown........ Anything special I should know about? Doesn't talk much, but instead stares.  Your status? A high status? How well can you dance? Unknown..... Will you inherit your families company? Unknown...... Are you dating anyone? Unknown..... How much do you know about history? Unknown.....   How good are you at math? Unknown.....   How good are you at writing? Unknown.....   How close are you and your friends? Unknown.....  

I looked down at the paper and realized that I really knew nothing about meliodas. I glanced over to see almost all of his sheet filled out. I sighed and looked down at my paper. He may have been around me a lot, but we never talked, so I don't know anything about him. 

"Alright class, it hasn't been an hour, but I have a second activity and it takes for time then this one. Princess elizabeth please stand and present meliodas." She said as she and every one else in the class looked at me. I glanced over to see that meliodas had moved some so he could fully look at me. 

"U-um.. Ok....." I said quietly as I grabbed the paper. 

"Speak up princess, I couldn't hear what you said." She said as she leaned forwards on her desk. 

"M-meliodas's full name is.... meliodas.... I don't know his favorite color, or food. His only pet peeve is to make sure you look where you are going so you don't run into someone else. He doesn't like seem to like it when he has to help. I don't know if he can dance, mainly because I have never seen him dance. Something you should know, and this is personal experience, he tends to stare and not talk at all. I believe he has a high status, although I don't know what it is. I don't know anything else, besides that...." I said louder, then I sat down and looked over at meliodas. 

He was looking down, he hair covered his face. After a few minutes he stood up and looked at the teacher. He glanced at me, the look on his face it seemed as though he was hurt...? 

"Elizabeth's full name is Third princess elizabeth liones. Her favorite food is cooked pork with mashed potatoes and green beans. Her favorite color is purple, her pet peeves.... Don't give her a glare, bored look, or poker face, she really hates all of those. Something special to know about her is that she might not know it till now, but she is taken. If any one tries to take her away from me.... well.... let's not go there.... She can dance rather well, her status is that she is third princess of liones. Due to being the third princess she will not inherit the kingdom of liones. She is dating someone, ME, she doesn't know too much about other clans history, but knows a lot about human history. She's great at math, I believe she even loves it. She is also great at writing, mainly because she reads a lot of books. She and diane, king, ban, gowther, escanor, merlin, and I are close friends." He said, even looked at him surprised. I was blushing madly, he knew everything about me. Yet I knew almost nothing about him! Ugh I can't believe I presented him so horribly. 

I looked down in shame, I feel so angry with myself. My chest tightened again, as I continued to look down at my table. I felt a hand on my shoulder, I looked over to see meliodas smiling at me. 

"I am sorry for not talking to you sooner. Here pass me the paper and I will fill it out for you." He said kindly as he pointed to the paper. I nodded and passed the paper towards him. He began to fill out the paper, as everyone else continued on with the introductions. 

A/N I can't decide if I want to introduce all of the characters or not, that would be a bunch of huge paragraphs XD Although I probably will do the introductions, just so you can get to know all of the characters. I already know elizabeth x meliodas and diane x king, but who would you I prefer that I pair merlin with? arthur, escanor or gowther?
