Silence

Chapter 10

Elizabeth's P.O.V

After diane, king, and ban left I looked at my father. He was glaring at meliodas who, stood up and helped me up as well. Father didn't say anything as he walked back to the car. The entire car ride was silent, but I was just trying to figure out what was happening. 

I couldn't tell what me emotions were at that very moment. I felt an overwhelming amount of emotions, I looked over at sir meliodas who was staring out the window. I sighed and moved away from him, I rested my head on the car window and closed my eyes. 

I woke up to someone shaking me, I opened my eyes to see father. He smiled and the door opened. 

I got out of the car and walked to my room. To my surprise when I turned around sir meliodas wasn't there. I walked to father's office, and heard him yelling about something. I couldn't make out who or what he was yelling about. 

When I got close to the door a knight stopped me, and pulled me back to my room. "Princess elizabeth your father has asked that if you came to his office, for us to put you back in your room. We will now watch over you till meliodas comes back." The solider stated as he turned around and stood in front of my door. I wasn't to sure on what was happening, all I knew is that, my dad doesn't want me to leave my room with out sir meliodas. 

I sighed in defeat over to my bed. After laying down for a moment, I jolted up. I looked outside, it was dark. I yawned and looked at my surroundings. I was still in my room, but to my surprise sir meliodas wasn't here. 

It was strange I wasn't too happy about him watching over me, but I guess after a while I had gotten used to it. Even if he didn't speak, it felt as though he spoke with his stares. He also seemed to speak with his actions. 

I never noticed how much I was used to him being around me. It felt incredibly quiet, it now feels like it did before I met diane. I sighed in defeat and walked over to my closet. After I changed I walked back over to my bed, and fell asleep. 

I opened my eyes to see it wasn't morning, instead it was almost noon. I heard someone knock on the door, but I ignored it. I sat up and it finally sunk in, that I won't be able to see king, diane, or ban anymore. 

I finally had friends, now I have none. My eyes began to water up, and I pulled my knees to my chest. I began to cry, again I heard another knock on my door. Although I ignored it again, I didn't want to leave my room. My chest felt tight, and it was kinda hard to breathe. I kept crying, I laid face down on my bed and cried into my pillow. I sobbed for what seemed like hours. 

After I got all my emotions out, I sat back up. I looked outside, it was dusk out. I heard a louder knock, this one seemed as though who ever was knocking, was impatient. Maybe someone was worried, that I haven't left my room at all today? 

Since diane was my friend, we were usually out doing something, or she was over here doing something. I sighed and got out of bed. I walked over to my door and opened it slightly to see father. He had a worried look on his face, as he pushed through my door. 

"Elizabeth are you alright? Meliodas has been knocking on your door for hours. He said you never responded, that instead you kept crying." He said looking down at me, then at meliodas who was in the door way. 

"No, I am not fine, thanks to you I have no friends! Some one was finally talking to me! Then you came along and took them away from me! Now I am all alone! AGAIN!" I yelled as I walked past father and sat on my bed. 

He looked at me with shock, then he looked back at meliodas. He had his mouth open like he was going to say something, but he soon closed his mouth. He looked down and walked over to my couch. 

Father didn't say anything as he walked out of my room. He closed the door behind him, I looked over at meliodas who was looking down. He had his arms crossed over his chest. I walked to my closet and got out a night gown. 

I went to bathroom, and changed. Once I came out of the bathroom meliodas was laying down on the couch. He was staring at the ceiling, I walked by him but he kept his focus on the ceiling. Which was odd, I always found him staring at me. He didn't try and hide it either. 

"Good night sir meliodas." I said very quietly as I turned away from him and pulled up my blankets. I still couldn't feel him looking at me. I closed my eyes, and fell asleep rather quickly. 

I woke up and looked over to see meliodas was asleep, I went to my closet and got an out fit for today. A yellow dress, with lace will do. As I was walking to the bathroom I heard him shift. I looked back to see him awake, but he was staring at the ceiling again.

I looked down and walked into the bathroom. Meliodas won't acknowledge me, which is weird. It may seem weird, but it feels quieter then usual. He speaks with his actions, him staring is one of them. I felt my eyes tear up and my chest tighten. 

Why do I feel so hurt that he won't look at me? That shouldn't bother, he never talked to me in the first place. Now should be no different. Right...........? My chest tightened even more, I pushed these thoughts aside and got dressed. 

I walked out of the bathroom, to get my shoes. After I put my shoes on I looked over to see meliodas staring at the ceiling. My chest tightened again, and I felt tears in my eyes again. I pushed aside my feelings, and left my room. 

 I walked to fathers office, and knocked. He didn't say anything, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned to see a maid, she gently grabbed my wrist and pulled me back to my room. After I got back to my room she gently pushed me inside, and closed the door behind me. 

I sighed in frustration, and walked over to my bed. Now even father or the maids won't talk to me? I looked over, meliodas was of course staring at the ceiling. If no one is going to talk to me then I guess I could read. After all books could talk to me. 

I walked over to my door, and opened it. I walked around for a couple of minutes. I looked at two huge doors, and pushed them. After pushing the doors, I saw a huge library. I walked to the kid section, and got a couple of books. I sat down at a table and began to read.
