Silence

Chapter 6

Elizabeth's P.O.V

I walked up to the castle, YES WALKED. I knew Meliodas was behind me, and would stop me the moment I ran. There is not point in running when he is around, he just stops me. Although if I really wanted to run, I could go to the track. 

I felt his arm wrap around my waist and I sighed heavily. I looked up to see a wall, and my eyes widened. I looked back at Meliodas who just gave me a bored look. I can handle him not talking, but the faces he makes anger me. 

I glared at him and pushed his arm away, and began to walk to my room. After I made it to my room, I quickly slammed the door behind me. I went to my couch and flopped down, I grabbed a near by pillow and hugged it tightly

Moments later I heard a knock on my door, I said, "Come in." It was one of my dad's butlers, and he had the same bored look that Meliodas had. 

"Sorry to disturb you princess, but your father would like to speak with you." He said bowing and waiting for me to get up. I let go of the pillow reluctantly, and got up. I hesitantly walked to my father's office. This is weird he has never called me to his office before, let alone ever want to speak with me.  

I knocked on the door and heard a 'come in.' I walked in and sat down on one of the couches. My father leaned forward and looked down at me. I looked back up at him confused, he sighed softly and walked over to me. As he sat down I moved over a little, so he had more space.

"Elizabeth, I don't want you talking to Arthur Pendragon. Also don't be rude to Meliodas, after all he is here to protect you from any and all danger." He said giving me a serious look. I looked up at him in confusion, and then looked down. 

"Why of all people would you hire Meliodas?" I asked shyly, it was weird talking to father. I felt my cheeks heat up slightly, at the thought of Meliodas. 

"For a reason that you can not know of till your older. Do as I ask and stay away from Arthur Pendragon. Also don't be rude to Meliodas, like I said he is here to talk to you. Lastly from now on I want you to be formal with Meliodas and your friends. They all come from wealthy family's, you will address the women by lady, and men by sir." He said giving me a more serious look. 

Now i'm confused, when I address my friends, he called them men and women. "Father, are you home schooling me?" I asked shakily. He looked at me with a worried look on his face. 

"Yes, until high school you will be home schooled. I can't have you around Arthur Pendragon until it is time." He said sternly as he got up and walked back over to his desk. I felt my eyes water up and I got up to look at him.

"W-will Diane and K-King still be able t-to come over?" I stuttered leaning closer to him. He smiled warmly which shocked me. I backed away and calmed down. He nodded and I smiled warmly. 

I sighed happily, and walked out of his office. As soon as I got out I saw Meliodas looking down, his hands in his pockets, and leaning against the wall. I didn't say anything to him, instead I walked past him. I knew he wouldn't talk to me anyways, but I knew that he would at least follow. 

I walked into my room and grabbed my iPod and headphones. I also got a pencil, and drawing paper. I sat down in the middle of my bed, put my head phones in, and began to draw. It wasn't that good, after all I was in second grade. 

Once I was finished I did the best I could to color inside the lines, but again I am a second grader. I looked up to see Meliodas right in front of me. He was looking at my drawing as if he was trying to figure out what it was. 

I smiled to myself, and looked back down at my drawing of a dragon. It looked liked it was trying to eat its tail or something. It was red, and it looked kinda weird. He picked up the picture, and stared at it as if he was committing it to his memory. 

I smiled happily and he put the paper back down. When I looked up he had the same poker face on. It seriously annoyed me, I wish he would smile and talk. But no he would rather give me a poker face, glare or bored look, and he only smiled one time. 

I looked down at the drawing, and folded up the piece of paper. I gave him the paper and he looked up confused. 

"Here, I don't want this, but you can have it." I said happily, he didn't say anything. He just took it and put it in his pocket. 

"I know you won't talk to me, how about instead you nod yes or no for my question?" I asked him, he nodded slowly.

"Will you be here with me all summer?" I asked looking at him, and for some reason leaning closer to him. Although when I did I could feel my cheeks heat up and I looked extremely close, I could see him slightly blushing. It would be hard to see if I were farther away.

He slowly nodded yes and leaned forward slightly. Our faces were inches a part and we could feel our breathes on each others faces. It made me blush madly, suddenly I felt warm, soft lips press against mine. 

I kissed back softly, but I have to admit I have no idea what to do. It felt like my cheeks couldn't get any hotter. After another minute of kissing he became rather forceful, he pushed me down on my back. 

He broke the kiss and started to breathe hard. I breathed hard as well, and my cheeks were redder then a tomato. I looked up at him shyly, he looked down at me and blushed very lightly. He got off me and sat back down on his spot. (Yes there are second graders, but don't forget who Meliodas is.....)

This summer is going to be interesting. I sat back up and put my head phones back in, and then I continued to draw. I ended up drawing a weird boar, a snake thing, a pretty decent fox, a regal goat, a weird bear, and lastly an actual good lion. I just colored them all red. 

I'm not very creative, but I try. I looked over to my couch to see Meliodas fast asleep, and my drawing was on the table. I sighed and got out of bed with all the drawings, and walked over to the couch. I stared at Meliodas for a few moments... He just looked so peaceful... 

I smiled warmly before putting the new drawings with the other one I gave him earlier. I went to my closet and put my night gown on in my closet. I then brushed my teeth, and hair before going back to my bed and laying down. 

I thought back to earlier when Meliodas had kissed me, then it hit me.... Aren't we a little young to be kissing and stuff? I keep getting this feeling that this won't be the last time we would do stuff like kiss. I am going to be honest, I want it to happen more. I enjoyed that kiss a lot, and hoping for more. I shook these thoughts from my head, due to thinking about Meliodas I was blushing again. 

Maybe if I just keep repeating, "we are too young for this stuff." In my head it will help me forget the kiss and focus on spending my summer with my friends, and not a blushing mess.

I looked at my clock, it said 9:30 pm. I gasped slightly in shock and put all of my stuff away. After I went back to my bed, and got underneath my covers I looked around me. I forgot about the lights..... I sighed heavily before getting up and shutting the lights off. After the lights were out I made sure I was comfy, then I felt the bed dip. I looked over to see Meliodas looking at me. 

Wait.......... I thought he was asleep......?

A/N  Yes you will get to read Meliodas's p.o.v at some point, but if I do it know it would reveal the ending :( wait please :D. Also I will hopefully update tomorrow :D
