Silence

Chapter 11

Elizabeth's P.O.V

Finally, I've made it to high school . Father is letting me attend private school for the last 4 years of school. This private school is only for the rich and prestigious children, most will soon inherit their families companies. 

I have to admit homeschooling was hell. No one talked to me, except the teacher. Meliodas was gone during the day because he got to attend private school still. After my lessons I would alone in my room, every time I tried to visit father I was ignored. 

Sometimes I got to see my sisters Veronica, and Margaret. Although they did the same as father, and pretended I didn't exist. After a couple of years, I got use to the silence. I started visiting the library on a daily basis due to I felt the books would talk to me. Yes I know this sounds weird, but hey I was alone and practically isolated to my room or the library. After spending 5 years in complete silence, I began to welcome it. 

Sometimes a guard or maid would greet me with a 'hello princess.' I used to respond to them, and they would always smile back. To be honest I began to ignore them, I welcomed the silence to the point of, I didn't want to talk to any one any more. I was tired of talking to people and not getting a single answer back. 

I began to act as I felt, I felt as though I didn't exist. I was merely a ghost that had made its way back into the living world. After about 3 years, father tried talking to me, but I just ignored him. If he really wanted to talk to me, why not do it sooner? Why make me feel unwanted, unloved, and basically just useless or non existent. 

After about 2 years meliodas began to give me looks again. I use to look back at him with a smile, but I stopped doing that as well. I was tired of him just staring, giving me a bored look, or a poked face, or even when I did the smallest thing wrong. He would give me a glare, and that glare... it made me feel hurt. Every time he gave it to me I would feel my chest tighten and my eyes water up a little. 

Now I was finally starting school again, some people I saw in first, and second grade won't be at this school. Mainly because my first and second grade I attended a normal public school. Now everything was different, I grew a lot... I felt guys typically stare at me, well not me, at my boobs and butt. 

I can't say I don't expect them to, I just wish they wouldn't. They stare at me as though I am a piece of meat or something. It makes me really uncomfortable, and my cheeks heat up. 

Now time for me to get ready for school, I picked up the uniform it was a white shirt, and black jacket with white lining, it had a tie that tucks underneath the black jacket. The jacket had two white buttons, and two black pockets as well. The tie was red, white, and black, it's design was plaid. The skirt was kinda short, it was the same as the tie, except it had small black lace, at the bottom of it. Lastly it had black stockings, and black slip on shoes. (I will have a picture at the end of the chapter, although I tweaked two things.)

I put on my uniform and walked outside my room to my limo. Meliodas was following behind me, he was wearing the same type of uniform that I was wearing. His outfit was the same as mine, except he had on black pants, and black sneakers. (Yes this would look weird asf, but I have to admit I am not one who deals with a lot of fashion.)

I looked at my phone, 'No new messages.' I was use to seeing this, after all father banned ban, king, and diane from being my friends. I sighed and opened up my phone, I went to my music. I grabbed my head phones out of my bag, and put in my headphones. I picked some music, and went to my books. 

I felt the car stop, I looked up to see a huge, beautiful, and kinda new looking school. I put away my headphones, and phone. After meliodas got out, I followed him. I haven't been to school or outside the castle in such a long time. I felt my anxiety increase, my chest tightened a little. I saw a bunch of people around me, I started to shake a little. 

I held my phone tightly, and closely followed behind meliodas. I continued to look down, then I felt someone grab my hand. I looked up to see meliodas holding my hand, and pulling me away from someone else. I was so focused on my emotions I wasn't looking where I was going. 

I looked at meliodas who gave me a bored look. I tensed up to his look and pulled my hand away from his. I glared at him, then I continued to walk to my home room. It was class 3B, I roamed around for a few minutes. 

After I found my class I took a seat in the back, towards the window. I looked around to see I was the only person in here. I shrugged it off, and got out my head phones and book. I began to read my book, I got through quite a few pages before I heard the bell ring. I looked up to see, meliodas, ban, king, diane, escanor, gowther, and merlin. All of the people from my second grade class. 

Although the strange thing, is that they are the only people in my class. I sat on the back, and left side of the class. While they sat at the front and to the right of the class room. It feels like they sat as far away from me as possible. The teacher walked in and looked around the class room. 

She took roll, then stared at me for a moment. "Princess elizabeth, could you do me a favor?" She asked as she walked over to me. I nodded my head and put away my headphones. 

"Please move up to the front, out first activity requires everyone to be in a group of 2. You can't group with anyone if you are in the back." She stated as she pointed to a seat next to meliodas. I nodded, grabbed my stuff, walked over, and sat next to meliodas. 

"Alright class, let's get started my name is Mrs. Alexis. I will be your teacher for the year, and just a quick fyi, I am a friend of group work. I will assign you a partner, but every month your partner will change." She said as she looked at us, waiting for a response. 

"Alright so the groups are, elizabeth and meliodas, diane and king, gowther and merlin, and ban and escanor, I want you guys to move to a separate location, I want you to only talk to your group partner." She stated as she waited for us to start moving. I quickly grabbed my stuff, and walked back to my original seat. 

Meliodas of course followed and sat down next to me. I looked over at him and he........ wait.......... I know he did not just.............. did he just......... smile???? He has only ever smiled at me once. I felt my cheeks heat up and when they did he smirked. 

"Hello, elizabeth." He said softly. My face felt like an erupting volcano, I looked at him with pure shock. I couldn't believe it...... he actually............. wait........ no.................... he could never......... I get it........... I'm so lonely I am hearing things.............

A/N YES HE TALKED YESSSSSSSSS HE JUST DID. Lol :P I will update soon after this. I can't update when I am not home, and I won't be home for a few days, so I will try and update today as much as I can. Also yes, if any one was thinking about it involving the seven deadly sins powers and all that, yes. I already showed king, and meliodas's powers, and soon I will show the rest. This is the uniform, just try and imagine it with black stockings, and slip on shoes. Also for the guys it would of course have black pants :P I won't give any guys skirts I may be weird, but I don't go that far XD Also that emblem that's on the jacket thing, isn't on the outfit in the book.
