Chapter 13

Meliodas's P.O.V (I know right it's finally his p.o.v what a shocker XD)

I filled out the paper for elizabeth, her answers shocked me. I eat dinner with her every night, I am surprised she didn't get at least that one. I looked down at the completed paper, and passed it to elizabeth. I waited for her reaction. I knew she should be shocked by at least one of my answers.

I looked up to see escanor shakily standing up, and ban smirking. I sighed as I thought about what those two would said about each other. "What....?" Elizabeth said quietly as she looked up at me shocked.

"What's wrong elizabeth?" I asked smirking a bit, I wonder which one she is shocked about. After a few moments of silence I faced the front, it seems as though she isn't going to answer me. I sighed quietly, I was really hoping she was going to ask about my fifth answer.

"N-nothing sir meliodas." She said as she pushed the paper away from her a little. I didn't expect that, all the years I have known her she has always wanted an explanation for everything. I sighed and looked down at my hands. Guess all those years of not talking to her took its toll on her.

Although I could have been nicer and let her continue to be friends with diane, king, and ban. To be honest I didn't like how they acted around her, they were always hugging her. I don't like it when people touch my elizabeth, especially ban. I gritted my teeth slightly at the thought of someone else touching her.

"Alright class now that introductions are over, let's start activity two. I would like all of you to stand up and follow me." Mrs. Alexis said as she stood up and headed for the door. I got up and looked over to see elizabeth doing the same.

She stared at me for a moment unsure of what I was doing before she walked towards me. "Going to escort me as always, sir meliodas?" She asked as she turned and walked out of the room. I quickly caught up to her and followed behind her. I sighed softly, I finally got to talk to her. Although this is not the reaction I had imagined, then again I don't expect anything less.

Elizabeth's P.O.V

I am in total shock that sir meliodas is talking to me right now. I had thought that he would never speak to me, and that I would be alone forever. I glanced behind me to see him staring at me, I felt my cheeks flush and I quickly turned back around.

"Well it sure did take the two highest ranked kids in my class to get out here. That is awfully strange but I will let it go just this once." The teacher said as she turned and walked towards a clearing. We followed behind her and she stopped in the middle of the clearing.

"I know you might not want to, but every one needs to do a lap with their partner, then a trust fall. Once everyone has completed this we will switch partners according to this chart, got it?" She announced as everyone nodded agreed and we all began to do a lap. Running wasn't my strong suit but lucky for me the clearing wasn't that big.

I know the trust fall will be easy, as much as I would hate to admit it I know no matter what sir meliodas will always be there to catch me. Now that I think about it he has never not been there. For almost as long as I can remember he always been there for me, not once have I gotten injured since he has been by my side.

Infact I remember just last year when we were walking around the castle library, someone bumped into a book shelf. I looked up and expected it to fall on me, but it never did. When I opened my eyes sir meliodas was above me, he lifted up the book shelf and the person that knocked it over was never seen again.

"beth, Elizabeth?" Sir meliodas' voice snapped me out of my thoughts as I realized that we had got done running the lap.

"Oh right, the trust fall. My bad." I said sheepishly as I walked closer towards sir melidoas.

"Do you want to go first or me?" He asked as he rubbed the back of his head. I put a finger on my chin and thought about it for a moment.

"Well, I know you will always catch me. How about we see if I will always catch you?" I asked as I smiled at him. He blushed a bit and looked down for a moment.

"Ok." Was all he said as he turned and put his hands over his chest. "3...2...1" He counted down and I held out my arms ready to catch him. He slowly tipped back before safely landing in my arms. I smiled down at him and brought him in for a hug.

"I will always catch you, as long as you always catch me." I said as I looked down to see him blushing. He nodded slowly and I let go of him.

"Your turn." He said as he pointed at me. I nodded and turned around from him.

"3...2...1" I said before I slowly began to fall backwards. I was soon greeted with strong arms catching me, as always. This time he brought me in for a hug, I smiled softly and hugged him back. There was a large thump and I fell out of meliodas' arms and landed on my hand wrong.

"Ow..." Was all I said as I looked down at my wrist and lightly held it in my other hand. It feels as though I just sprained it.

"Ban.... If you wish to live to see the light of tomorrow I suggest you get the hell out of my sight.." Meliodas said in a deep dark tone. Ban looked over at me before his eyes widened and he back away from us slowly.

"M-meliodas..?" I asked quietly as I looked up at him cautiously.

"How badly are you hurt?" He asked as he kneeled down in front of me before picking me up and holding me bridal style.

"Not to bad, but I will contact the maids and have one come pick me up." I replied as I got my phone out of my pocket.

Me:

I hurt my wrist could you come pick me up from school?

Maid:

Of course princess, I will be there as soon as possible.

"Oh my, are you ok princess?" I heard the teacher quickly ask.

"I have contacted a mage to take me home." I said as melidoas began walking back to the classroom. Once we were inside the classroom meliodas set me down and put my bag on one shoulder and another bag on the other shoulder.

We sat in silence for a few moments before melidoas pulled me into his lap and held me tightly. "I wasn't injured that badly..." I silently said.

"It was my fault that you got hurt, if I hadn't let go you would be fine right now." He replied quietly.

The maid soon entered and waved at us. Meliodas picked me up bridal style and followed the maid. Once we were outside I noticed my father was standing by the car. "Why are you here?" I asked in an annoyed tone.

"I heard that you were injured, so I came to check up on you." He said as he reached a hand out to brush back my hair. Meliodas didn't let him, as he made sure to move us aside when father reached out a hand. The maid opened the door and meilodas was careful as he stepped inside the car while still holding me.

A/N I know this chapter is a bit short but I am just trying to go back and fix the story so it will line up with the new story line.
