Sean's POV
I bent down to tie my shoe laces but when I stood up, Faith was gone.
"Faith!" I walked around calling and looking for her but my efforts proved futile. I sighed and sat on one of the seats. Gosh I feel horrible. The only reason I didn't want to talk about that night again was because I did go to a strip club.
I rubbed my head and sat up, dusting off my pants. The concert was starting in twenty minutes and I needed to find her. I looked up and saw the guy who was giving her googly eyes.
I took long strides towards him and when I reached to him I held him up by his collar.
"Where the fuck is she!"
He put his hands up in surrender, "What...who?"
"Don't you play dumb with me! You took my girlfriend!"
"What the hell," he pushed me away, "Your girlfriend is fucking hot and I bet she gives great head but I don't know where she is okay dude."
I swear I lost it. I punched him in the face and he fell, holding his now broken nose. "Hey what the fuck man!"
"I know my girlfriend is hot and yes she gives great head!"
He stood up, wiping his mouth and tsked, "It'd be a shame if she found out what you did last night."
I gritted my teeth, "What are you talking about?"
He took a step closer to me, "I was there. Don't play dumb."
"Did you follow me?! Were you stalking me or something?! Did you follow me here too?!"
"You're not the only one who goes to strip clubs," he laughed and started backing away. I swung at him but he dodged me and ended up punching me in my gut. I doubled over in pain and he just walked away.
I stayed on the ground for a while but I didn't take my eyes off of him. I rubbed my head before getting up, dusting my pants and leaving to follow him. I followed him through a crowd of people, pushing people aside so I wouldn't loose him. But of course, when he tryna a corner, he was gone.
Wait why didn't I try to call her? Wait...why didn't she call me? Maybe she wanted to leave. Maybe she didn't love me anymore. Or maybe she's in trouble...but what if she's not?
Fuck it.
I pulled out my phone and dialed her number but it went to voicemail. I didn't have a choice but to do the mission without her.
I went backstage and I was about to go downstairs but I saw Andy. Oh my gosh. What do I do?
I sprinted to him and put my hand out for him to shake. He gave me a puzzled look before accepting my handshake and smiling.
"I'm Sean...can I have a picture. I'm kind of in a rush."
"Uhhh..."
"Thanks bro!" I have my phone to some guy and he took a picture of me and Andy. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh! I thanked them both and ran downstairs, under the stage.
There were shelves filled with drugs and two buff and tattooed men. I really wasn't in the mood to have a long fight...it's usually more fun with Faith.
I sighed loudly and pulled out my gun, shooting them both. I took pictures of the evidence and contacted Edward telling him I was done and I'm going back home. If Faith were here we would have watched the concert together.
I stared at the ground for a bit. This was too easy...what if it's some type of trap. Or maybe I'm just being paranoid.
I saw a door at the end of the hall and sprinted towards it. I banged on it loudly, hoping Faith was in there. I yelled her name over and over but I didn't get an answer.
"Fuck!" I banged on the door and my eyes teared up, "This is so stupid!"
I didn't bother going home. I went straight to the agency and stormed straight to Edward's office. I burst through the door and found him sitting, doing paperwork.
He looked up with a puzzled look, "Don't we knock anymore," he stared at me for a while before continuing his work, "Where's faith?"
"I don't know."
He put his pen down, leaned back and folded his arms. "What do you mean you don't know?"
"I mean she's missing," I said through gritted teeth.
"Well...if she doesn't come back by tomorrow we'll have to replace her."
I slammed my hands down on the table and my nose flared. "What the fuck do you mean replace her?!"
"Do not speak to me like that!"
I pointed a finger at him, "You know you care about her! Yeah she's sarcastic and she kinda still hates you for bringing her into this mess but you love her like the daughter you never had!"
He stood up abruptly, "Don't say that!" He sighed, "I'll send a team out to look for her."
I nodded my head, "Thank you."
•••
It had been a week and they still haven't found her. Everyday I went out and I searched and I found nothing. It got harder as each day passed. My mind came up with silly conclusions as to where she could be.
What if she ran away...she finally escaped the agency. Or what if she ran away with some guy. What if she was cheating on me with him this whole time...what if she's dead.
I shook my head, trying to clear the thoughts from my head.
I was seated at the dining table along with Zack, Connor and Jacob. It was seven in the morning but that didn't stop me from having two shots of scotch and three of vodka. I thought it would help me forget for a moment that the live of my life was missing but it just made my head hurt.
"They're gonna fund her dude," Connor gave me a bro hug and and just nodded.
I felt even worse knowing I was keeping a secret from her. I rubbed my head and got up from my seat. I was going to go find her and I wasn't gonna give up.
