I cried as I walked away from the hospital...as I walked away from my true love. Why did I have to be such a fool? Why couldn't I just believe him?

But I don't want to get hurt again. But what if he doesn't hurt me? But what if he does?

But what if he didn't?

I tried to shut my mind up and focused on my walk. The cool breeze hit my face and caused my brown curls to dance behind me. I watched my feet as they walked in the pavement.

I felt a drop of water but my skin and I groaned in frustration. I pulled Andrew's sweater, which he left a long time ago, closer to me.

As I thought about my choices I realized I was an ass. Who walks home in the middle of the night?

My stupidly is supported when I see two headlights flash from behind me. I turn and see a black van and start to pick up my pace. I heard footsteps behind me and started running.

The person behind me gained speed and my breathing picked up. My legs started to feel like jelly and my breathing patterns were abnormal but I couldn't stop.

I was so joining the gym if I survived this.

The rain was now pouring and my hair stuck to my face. My clothes became a second skin and I tripped on a stone. I cursed and tears started to form in my eyes.

"You've jut been recruited," I heard his sickeningly smooth voice say.

I sure as hell didn't want to stick around any longer to know what he meant by 'recruited' so I ran. In that moment I turned into flash.

The breeze felt cold against my now wet body and I shivered.

My body came into contact with the now wet pavement. If I just believed him I wouldn't be in this predicament right now.

A boy around my age, maybe nineteen, was hovering over me as I trashed my les and hands. He pinned my hands to the pavement, above my head, and had his legs over mine.

He was my complexion and had black hair which was now sticking to his face. He smirked at me and a chill run up my spine.

He moved piece of hair from my face, "Hi princess."

I pounded against his chest but my attempts to escape him were futile. Tears poured out my eyes like a broken tap.

I continued to trash under him and he lowered his face to mine. "Please stop. I'm not going to hurt you."

Wow, that's reassuring. The guy which has me pinned to the pavement in the pouring rain after following me in a black van isn't going to hurt me.

I put up a fight until I felt tired and eventually stopped. He smiled at me, "See that wasn't hard was it?"

I caught him by surprise by bringing my knee up to where the sun doesn't shine. He rolled over on his side with his hands covering his area. He groaned in pain and his face turned red.

I quickly scurried from my position on the floor  and onto my feet. I ran as fast as my legs could take me but that wasn't much since I was as fast as a tortoise.

I saw my door in front of me. I was going to make it. I let out a breathy chuckle feeling relieved.

I was so close.

I felt a hand wrap my waist from behind and pull me back. I stumbled behind and into my bushes along with the mysterious boy.

I sobbed, "Please...let me go."

He tutted and shook his head. I don't know why I was even trying to plead with him. I knew he wasn't going to let me go.

I pushed him off me as he was distracted and ran towards my door. My hand grazed the door handle.

The scream that was supposed to alert my mom and nosy neighbors was muffled by a rag which was drowned in chloroforme.

I fell into darkness as I regretted not believing Andrew.
