I'm not gonna lie, she was gorgeous. She lived in a flat house and worked as a nurse. She was single with a two year old son. I wore a cute, fitted, navy blue dress with flared sleeves and white at the edges and paired it with white heels.

I stepped out of the car, and fixed my dress. I picked up a pie that I made and closed the car door. My phone started ringing but I declined because it was Sean. After that, my phone started buzzing like crazy.

Dude who cheated: I swear to god Faith.
Dude who cheated: You better not kill her. She's a good person.
Dude who cheated: Edward told me you're going over here house.
Dude who cheated: I made a mistake ok.
Dude who cheated: I'm sorry.
Dude who cheated: I love you.

I rolled my eyes and switched off my phone. I walked up her pathway and rung the doorbell. A few seconds after, she came out with a smile. I stuck my hand out for her to shake with a smile of my own.

"Hi, I'm new in town and I cooked a bunch of pies for all my new neighbors," I faked a breathy laugh and she laughed loudly.

"You clearly love to cook."

I nodded and gave her the pie which she thanked me for. She gave me a hug and when she pulled away she offered me in.

She put the pie on the counter and gave me a smile, "I'm Jessica."

Oh I know hunny.

"I'm Barbara."

"Do you want something to drink?"

"Hm no thanks," I forced another smile and she invited me to sit down.

She sat next to me, "I just finished putting my baby down to sleep," she chuckled, "such a handful."

I took this as a chance to dig for information.

"Oh am I intruding?" I stood up, "I can leave. I didn't mean to bother you and your family. Your husband is probably waiting on you."

"No no you can stay. And uh...I'm single."

Yeah I know bitch.

"Oh I'm so very sorry."

"No it's okay."

She was quiet for a while and I saw a tear fall down her cheek. She wiped it quickly and sniffles. She looked up to me, "I don't want to bombard you with my problems and I know we just met but I feel like I know you and...I have something to get off my chest."

I put my hand on her back and mentally rolled my eyes, "Oh it's okay. You get it off your chest."

"Well a few weeks ago...I, I had sex with my ex," she put her head in her hands and sighed, "It wasn't supposed to happen. He was just there and when I saw him and I had to tell him something but we were both really drunk but then while we were...doing it, he moaned another woman's name, Faith, then he said he had a girlfriend and it was a mistake and ugh I feel so bad. The only reason we broke up was because I had to move. Worst decision on my life. I really miss him but clearly he's moved on."

"How long had it been?"

"Two years," she took a breather, "I needed to tell him the baby was his...Bryon. His name's Byron."

I choked on air and she patted my back for a while. I caught my breath after a while and asked if I was ok.

"Yeah I'm fine. That just," I cleared my throat, "just sounds like a book."

She chuckled under her breath, "Hopefully, it has a good ending."

I was stunned for a moment and I wanted nothing more than to rip her head off. I decided against it though.

"What was his name...if you don't mind me asking."

"Sean."

"Um Jessica...I need to tell you something. I didn't find you by accident. My real name is Faith."

Well my fake real name.

She stood up, "What the hell? Get out! Get out get out get out! You're still here? Leave!"

"No! You slept with my boyfriend!"

"I didn't know he had a girlfriend! How did you even find me?"

"I work with him."

"Oh you're and accountant too?"

I hummed, "I just wanted to talk. I didn't think I would actually enjoy your company...I didn't even know he had a kid," I whispered the last part.

"Neither does he. I'm sorry I overreacted...here's my number. Call me sometime so we can hang out."

I gave her a sincere smile and hugged her, "Thanks and sure."

"You're not from here are you?"

"No," I laughed.

We hugged and I walked towards the door, "Nice meeting you."

"You too," I smiled.

I sat in the car but then I realized I forgot my phone. Ughh. I got out the car and was just about to know when I heard

"She totally took the bait...yeah. Of course he's the father. Yeah I'll kill her the next time I see her."

I kicked the door open, pulled out my gun and pointed it at her. I was actually happy I had a female friend but of course life hates me.

"I can explain," she put her hands up and slowly backed away to the kitchen counter. I saw she was going to pick up a knife but I shot her hand.

She screamed and held her hand with the other. She stood up and threw the knife at me but I dodged it. On instinct I shot her again but this time it was in the head.

She fell to the ground, blood pouring out of her head. I went for my phone and was about to walk out but I heard Byron start to cry.

I forgot about him.

I can't just leave him...he's only two. I followed the sound of the baby's crying and I found him in a nursery, in a crib.

He was so cute. I picked him up and he looked more like Sean than Jessica. I smiled at him and he stopped crying. He reached for my nose and I laughed.

I tickled his tummy and he laughed which made me laugh even more. "Aren't you just the cutest little thing," I said in a baby voice.

"Oh yes you are," I rubbed my nose against his, "Oh he's you are."

I put him back in his crib and and looked for milk. I found the powder and made a bottle for him. After I gave it to him I looked all over the house for a car seat then realized I was being stupid.

"I'll be right back baby," I blew a kiss at him and found Jessica's at keys. I went to her car and transferred the car seat from her car to mine then I got the baby and put him in it.

I took some of the powdered milk, his bottle, pampers and wipes and put it in a bag. I even packed some of his clothes.

What was my plan anyways?
