We sat in silence, all of us thinking about what we were just told. Were we ready as a team? I think so, but I don't know whether the others thought so too.
"We are ready, we've spent quite a while training together and we've gotten to know each other well." She paused, "I mean come on, we even helped Waki with his weirdness, a little." That is true. He doesn't go into fits of explaining how evil things are anymore, at least not to us. Probably figured we knew better.
"Ok, raise your hand if you say we do this." I say while putting my hand high in the sky. The other two immediately follow. It was decided, we will tell Rei and leave tomorrow.
"So, you all decided to go?" Rei asks when he comes back, "or are you waiting till next year?"
"We did just say that we're going." I stare at him.
He waves his hand, "yeah yeah, I heard. Now go home, I'll tell Fin."

It didn't take us long to get to the leaf village, it was just getting dark. The leader, the hokake, had an anbu show us to where we would be staying while he and Rei talked. Rei told us that once we settled we could roam around, with a warning of if we cause any trouble he'd restrict what we could do. Even threatened that he wouldn't let us go through with the chunin exams.
Uda decided to check out the stores, Waki the food and me, I went searching for the familiar chakras I felt. I came across some interesting kids while looking. A boy wearing orange clothes and whiskers on his cheeks, a pink haired girl with a bright blush across her cheeks, and an angry looking boy with black eyes.
They were talking to some ninja from the sand village I think. Siblings apparently, even though they didn't seem that alike to their youngest brother. His aura was evil, something not quite sealed beneath the surface.
I figured out some of their names, Naruto and Sasuke. Friends of Chi's? From the scents I could only assume that Chi hangs out with them.
The first part of the chunin exams will start tomorrow. A written test if I remember correctly, something I think I'll do fine with. Although I don't think the test will be exactly what it seems on the surface.
It didn't take me long to find the familiar chakra, Chi, she was training. I watched her for a bit before leaving to meet up with my team for dinner. I'll mess with her tomorrow, when I learn more and come up with a good prank that'll get her out of bed.
Rei decided what we'd have for dinner, since the tree of us were arguing about where to go to. Uda wanted to go for BBQ, Waki wanted more ice cream and I wanted dumplings. We got ramen.
Rei told us about the test and that we would have to think about what the instructor actually wants us to do. Not what they say they want us to do. He compared it to his ex girlfriend. "They say one thing but mean something else."
