"Waki, please stop biting your nails." Uda groans in annoyance. He puts his hand back into his glove and shoves them into his pockets. I make sure the Heaven scroll is safely hidden in the inside part of my hoodie, all we have to do is get the Earth scroll, easy enough. Although i don't feel so happy about signing a waiver to my life.
We shoot off through the forest, our plan set in our minds.
Soon we hear a scream not even minutes in, "well, and they weren't ready for the test."
A low laugh escapes my mouth, "that and I felt a couple really strong people, some have evil chakra." We continue heading towards the tower, "the red headed boy and his siblings from the sand village, the long haired girl or boy from the grass village are a few that we should avoid if possible."
"What about that Kabuto boy from the leaf village? The one with those ninja card things." Uda asks, she grabs a kuni from her pouch and throws it at a giant beetle.
"He'll definitely be tough, but nothing not worry about." I have Kuro go off in the distance, "team at 1 o'clock and another at 10, Waki wecken!"
He nods and heads off in the direction of the weaker team, faster then normal Waki ever is. I nod in the direction of 1 o'clock telling Uda where we are going. Grass ninja. Too bad they had a heaven scroll like us.
"Leaf ninja. Heaven scroll." Waki informs us handing me the scroll, "thought you'd want to take their scroll." At least I know it's not Chi's friends from the other day. I place the scroll along with the one me and Uda got into my leg pouch.
Since we agreed not to kill anyone unless we really needed to they could wake up at any moment during the five days and go back to finding their second scroll. So that's why we are taking their scroll.
"How about that team?" Uda whispers to me, "I saw them in town, besides the cute dark haired boy they don't seem that strong." I shake my head, that looks like Chi's friends.
"Looks can be deceiving. The orange haired boy has a strong chakra within him, probably holding a tailed beast. Let's just leave them." I whisper back.
We start to leave, "you sure it's not because they aren't your sister's friends?" I shove her slightly.
There sure are a lot of leaf ninja in the chunin exams, late at night we were ganged up on by like 3 teams and they took the scrolls from my pouch. Good thing we hid the two scrolls we needed in a different place. One of the idiots opened their scrolls thinking it would be a short cut, we left quickly after that.
"What happened to you, Uda?" Rei asks after we opened the scrolls at the tower early in the morning of the second day.
"Ninja teams teamed up against us, twice in a row!" She hugged and winces, "we had to put my shoulder back into place."
"Looks like you'll need to re-bandage that gash on your thigh too." We all look down at her blood soaked bandage.
"Seems so." She starts to to wobble, "I'm gonna go to sleep now." I appear next to her and grab hold of her before she gets too close to the floor.
Waki walks up to Rei, "So, is there any ice cream we can eat now that we are here?"
"No, but there is plenty of food to help you regain your energy and there is room for you all to sleep." Rei leads us to a makeshift dining room with tables of fruit, meat and other mouthwatering food.
