"Ah it's finished. Let's bring it out to the others." Chi grabs the big pot and walks out before ether Aka or me could say anything.

"Thank you Chi-sama, Shadow, Aka-sama, it looks delicious." They start to grab a plate from the stack I am holding. Hearing them call Chi and Aka "sama" will never weird me out.

"So.... Who's going to become the leader? Ruka seems to have disappeared and I don't know who you guys want to have bossing you around after this." I say finally sitting down with my own plate, the steak actually came out really good.

"Maybe we should have a competition to see who is most capable of the position," Sota suggests leaning back, "you know, show who's stronger."

"How about we vote instead of fight." Momoko suggests glancing at Sota.

"Yeah I rather vote instead of fight." Kiku says with a napkin over her mouth.

"Oh come on, fighting would be so much fun! I know you all want to fight me, even though you would lose because I'm the better fighter." Sota smirks.

"Yeah totally, my little cousin thinks he's the best fighter. Sorry hun but you should just stick to baking." Momoko pokes his cheek with a scratched hand.

"I don't bake! That's for you girls, I cook delicious food. And for your information I can fight just as good!" He stands with his fists clenched.

"Alright alright, whatever you say, just sit back down." Momoko tells him. I let out a laugh, also noticing that the others were having a laugh too.

"Ok back to the meeting, is it going to be a fight between the people who want to be alpha or is it going to be a vote?" Ken brings our attention back to the case at hand. Alpha, I still think it's weird calling the leader 'Alpha'.

"I chose to vote." Chi says, I look around and see Haru nod his head in agreement. I'm surprised she chose vote instead of fight, since she likes to fight.

"Well it seems that we already know the results of what's going to happen. Taro do you want to say anything?" Ken asks.

"Nah I don't really care who becomes Alpha to be honest, I trust you all." Taro tells us as he leans forward to grab another piece of meat.

"Well that settled that. Just don't vote for me, I don't want to have responsibility, but I guess if you vote for Chi. That way it would be me and her as Alpha." Aka told them.

That is true.

"Alright let's get this voting on the way! I'll go get the paper and a box, be right back!" I jump up and run out of the room to get some paper and a box. I rummage through the closet for a small box and then look on the counter for paper.

"Ok has everyone put in a vote?" I ask after placing it down in front of them and waiting a few minutes. When they all nod I take the box and dumped the pieces of paper onto the table that we had cleared of food.

"Ok, let's see. Hmm I see a couple with Ken's name. Ahh I also see some with some with Chi-sama's. Oh look there's one with Sota's name on it! Wait. Did you write your own name Sota?" Momoko asks turning to look at him.

"What! No I didn't! You know we aren't supposed to put our own name." He quickly responds, that lier.

"Yeah, sure it's not your handwriting." She rolls her eyes, sarcasm clear in her words, "would you look at that, Chi-sama and Ken are tied with two votes each!"

I'm not exactly sure why I even voted, I don't even belong to the clan.

"So since it's a tie, are we going to have some different way to break the tie?" Sota asks.

"I wouldn't mind Ken taking the place as alpha and me being beta." Chi mentions.

"But don't you want to fight for the place that you were born to have?" Sota asks her.

"As much as I love a good fight Sota, I rather not have to do so much paperwork and have so much responsibilities. Being beta would be plenty for me." Chi responds. I'm still seriously surprised she doesn't want to fight.

At this point I don't see a reason for me to be in the room so I stand and head into the kitchen, I think there is a few dumplings hidden somewhere. I search the cabinets and places until I find two, I pop them into the dumpling steamer for a few minutes to warm them up.
